Arhan's POV:

We eventually met and I told her everything that was happening. I saw her tensed up and I didn't want to burden her with my problems, but soon she started explaining and encouraging me and said no matter what no one can break our friendship. I felt so happy, because she was literally everything to me. I'm not even that close to my parents. I never want to lose her. For sure she's someone who knows her deen and is very good with words. When she mentionned that ayat Quran, I felt at peace knowing Allah's words. I couldn't help wonder how someone like her agreed to be my friend and never judged me for anything, instead she would explain to me and make me see things from her point of view.

That day I got home smiling and thinking when Izna's here, there's nothing to worry and we shall tackle all these problems together. It's been two days and I didn't hear from that jerk again and although I should have been happy, but I thought this was an indication of a storm ahead. Izna planned an outing and I know she did that to change my mood and she was successful as usual. Just being with her and listening to her makes me happy. The trip started well with us bickering as usual and a little teasing and then the loud karaoke session in the car. One thing I forgot to mention, Izna is very strong for  girl. I often tease her by calling her miss black belt but hey! It's a no venture danger zone. Don't get her angry else she'll really smack you and boy that hurts. Allah knows where she gets all that strength from.

We had an amazing time at the play area and as usual miss loser wanted my trophy to pose with and self declare her the winner, but anything for my baby boo's smile. She's the most precious thing to me. I can do anything just to see her smiling like this. On the way back she was smiling looking at the photos and soon fell asleep with a huge smile on her face. I knew she was happy and seeing this angel sleeping right next to me was so peaceful. She was a simple Muslim girl and didn't wear revealing clothes and wore the hijab, but for me, this is pure definition of beauty. Soon I was out of my trance when I realised we were being followed by three cars. I began speeding which woke Izna up. She seemed puzzled but soon realised what was happening. We had a small argument when I told her we couldn't go back home but soon she understood my point and when I asked for 2 single rooms, she stopped me saying why unnecessary expense, we're not here to sleep plus we're not strangers.

She freshened up and soon after she called her dad up, she started crying saying she never lied to her dad like that. I just couldn't bear sitting there and watching her cry like that. I don't know what happened but I just hugged her and she started crying bitterly. That's when I lost it and began telling her I'm bad omen, I don't get anyone's love and she's stuck in this situation because of me. But see my baby boo, even in this situation, she asked me to shut up and I'm her good luck and even if I want she's never gona leave. I'm stuck with her forever. And like that within seconds, she made me smile. I seriously wonder how did I get so lucky to have this amazing girl by my side...We soon had dinner and while talking we didn't realise when we fell asleep. Her face was by the headboard while my face was at the foot of the bed. We were so tired that we slept until the sun was high up. Izna freaked out when she saw the time and said we'll leave soon. We got coffee on the way back and soon we were in front of her house and I accompanied her as we decided to tell her dad about all this. Little did we knew a bomb was going to explode on us...

As soon as we entered, she said salaam and I followed offering a handshake to her dad but the next thing I heard was a resonating slap. I turned to my left to see uncle had slapped Izna. I suddenly lost my temper and said what the hell? How dare you slap her? Izna had tears flowing but she held onto my hands and I knew this meant keep quiet. But I protested and asked why did you slap her? What did she do? She did inform you she'll be home this morning. Her dad turned towards me and said of course you would know, since your were with her. I said let me explain uncle. He turned to Izna and said so this is what it means going out with friends, or spending the night at Sana's house? and threw a bunch of photographs at us. We were shocked to see our pictures when we met up at the lakeside, when we went for the little trip and the hug in the hotel with the smile. These were just natural reactions and nothing indecent like they might be thinking.
