My mouth fell open in a gap. I was getting so many hate comments. Why would Ben do this to me?
"Hello Liah you still there?" Mia said on the other end.
"I got to go," I hung up.
After hanging up my phone rang.
"Hello," I said. Still shocked.
"So you and Ben?" I knew the voice on the other end was Lonzo's.
"Zo please not right now," I spoke.
"Then when?" I just hung up the phone on him. I need to talk to the one person I know that has my back.
"Mommy I need you now," I said sobbing.
"Calm down. What's up? What's the matter baby?"
"Mo-mommy the rumors," I said.
"Are you talking about that NBA stuff? Your cousin Keenan just sent it to me. Khaliah I thought you told me you were down there doing fine."
"I thought I was. I swear mommy I did. I need you now more than ever," I spoke.
"Khaliah I can't do anything baby. You're older now you have to figure things out by yourself. I'll call you back, I can see if I can pull some strings to make this situation die down."
She said hanging up. She needs to do something quick.
I told my mom to stay out my social life, but now I need her help asap.
I grabbed my coat, and slides and car keys. Taking the first drive to Ben's house.
• "Hey Khaliah," he said opening the door.
"Don't fucking hey me. How could you?" I said banging on his chest.
"How could I what? Liah what now?" He said grabbing my wrist.
"You sent out reports saying you got me pregnant. I'm not fucking stupid. How fucking could you? Huh?!"
"Khaliah what are you talking about? I just woke up. I'd never do nothing like that," he spoke sincerely.
"You're a liar. Look at the fucking reports Ben. Look what people are saying about me, I can't fucking do this with you right not." I said throwing my phone at him.
He looked at all the reports, and read few of the comments
"I'm not lieing. How about you go lay in the bed and I'll make you a nice bath. I told you Khaliah Hodges I want all this. You, the baby and any mood swing that comes with it." He spoke.
