Nico's POV:

So Will officially thought I was nuts. Okay, so I didn't know for sure if he thought I was. He just grew quiet and then said he had to leave.

I guess he wasn't interested in someone that had a father like Hades. He probably wanted someone strong and beautiful like Zoë or even Artemis herself.

Nice Di Angelo would never be any of those things. Except maybe strong, because I could apparently summon the dead and shadow travel.

Anyways, it had been three days since I had been at the stupid camp. Two days ago Zoë, this Thalia girl (apparently my cousin), Grover (a goat, saytr), and Phoebe was supposed to go but a guy named Percy (also my cousin) went instead.

They went on a mission to rescue Artemis, hopefully the lady was alright. She was like a mother to me, at least that was how I viewed her. She probably thought I was annoying or gross since I was a guy. Then again she let me join her hunt.

So me, and like eleven other huntresses, were left at the camp. I could have gone too, except for the fact that Zoë asked me to stay so I could keep a close eye on the camp.

Basically she wanted me to spy. Not going to happen FYI, the worst thing to have happened was the Stoll's getting their asses kicked.

As I did my internal monologue (as I usually do), a horn loudly blared. Feeling startled, I snapped out of my thoughts just to see a horde of angry Orc looking things. What the fu-

"MOVE!"

I gasped as I was thrown on my back, just in time too because I just saw an Orc running at me with a spear.

Luckily I was pinned down. Oh wait. Their hands were not where they should've been.

I looked up to see none other than Will Solace. His face was red and his eyes were wide, "You're a-"

Crap. He knew. My cheeks burned a bright shade of Crimson. I swear I had never been more embarrassed, "Shut up! Now is NOT the time!" I yelled, pushing Will off of me so I could stand and fight.

He stared at me but didn't say anything else. "You the left and I take the right?" He suggested with a lopsided grin.

I shrugged my shoulders and nodded before swiftly pulling out my silver bow. Squinting my eyes: I expertly shot one arrow and hit three Orc-things through the head.

As I fought, I glanced over and saw that Will was pretty handy with a bow as well. Then something strange happened. He started whistling, making the enemies hold their ears in pain.

Well he was the son of Apollo, God of music.

"Nico! Look out!"

I shook my head and gasped in surprise as he shot an arrow past my face (leaving a cut) and hit an Orc in the face.

He ran over to me and held my face in his hands, "Are you okay??" He asked with his face full of worry.

I blushed. Crap. No. Stop it! "Y-Yeah. I'm fine." My voice broke. Damn it to all hades.

"No you're not." Will said with a hum. He started to whisper-sing a tune and soon the wound on my cheek healed.

"Oh... Thank you..." I murmured.

He grinned, "No problem." He was about to pull away but then he perked up and leaned in near my ear, "You're the prettiest boy I have ever had the pleasure of healing~" he said before winking and walking off.

Artemis, I apologize for my sins.
