Again: Judges are already chosen. There are a lot of awards where judges are missing leaving the awards hanging so we looked for a few trusted people.
Judges are the admins along with the special judges posted on the Rules section.
We will post the names of the judges soon.
Criteria for judging
Plot/Structure: 30%
- Do the events, turning points, and conflicts on the story create a definite framework that propels the story to move forward?
- Does the story unfold with points of originality and unpredictability?
- Are the timing of the action, unfolding of plot twist and character development satisfy the progression of the story?
Writing Style: 20%
- Spelling 0/10
- Grammar: 0/10
- Delivery: 0/10
Audience Appeal - 20%
- Does the writer makes you wonder what will happen next? Does the story excites you to the point that you are anticipating how the next chapter will turn out?
Cover, overall presentation, blurb : 10%
- a good story should be well rounded. Does the blurb attract readers?
- Is the cover appealing or correlate to story at all?
Overall Appeal - 20 %
- How much did you enjoy the story? Did you like it a lot that you always anticipate what will happen next or even wanted to recommend the story to others?
- Does it give you overall satisfaction?
Total : 100%
Insight:
You can include your insight why you gave that grade at the end. We understand that a book may habe a lot of errors but it appeals more than the others
