Aria Kovak stood behind the wall with Deputy US. Marshal Melody King pinned. Shelby O'Hanna was sitting behind the bed in the apartment. She was listening in on the conversation between the Chief and the main fugitive.

"I want refuge, to get out alive with your marshal. She has done wrong to my family." Kovak answered Art.

"Then why do you want to kill her?" Art asked, trying to sound convincing.

"I want to kill her within the eyes of my family, alone." Kovak answered.

"Aria, he won't appreciate that! He will kill you!" Shelby stood up bravely, dropping her two-by-four.

It was unusual seeing a fugitive changing sides after something so scarring. Usually they would stay loyal to the family, except for Shelby.

Tim set aim on Shelby, making sure she doesn't make a move. He knew he'd pop her in the head if she did so.

"I'm going to surrender." Shelby shook her head, not wanting to be in the mess any longer. She couldn't stand the poor look on Mel's faces.

"I'll just kill you then." Kovak pointed the gun at Shelby.

Mel made a move once again, distracting Kovak so Shelby could make an escape downstairs.

Shelby shut the door and ran down the stairs. She hurried, raising her arms in the air. She came out of the antique store with both hands in the air.

Rachel came around, grabbing Shelby's arms and placing them behind her back. She cuffed them, leading Shelby to car for escort. She then slammed the door, leaving Shelby looking up at the apartment window.

Rachel then turned on her radio, sending a signal to Art. "One down, one more to go." She assured him, glaring at Shelby in the car.

Kovak pressed Mel's face against the wall. "You better shut the hell up." She growled.

"No. It was never my fault." Mel hissed at Kovak before getting knocked in the face with a gun.

"Of course, it was." Kovak continued on.

"I am for peace, not a toy for torture." Mel shook her head, moaning in pain.

Kovak then came up with an idea thanks to Miss King. She grabbed Mel by the hair, leading her to window.

Mel's face was exposed to the marshals downstairs. Her busted lip and arm left to bleed. Her hair was held back with a gun pointed at the back of her head.

Art looked closer with the binoculars, seeing that his marshal was held hostage. "Holy shit." He cursed, seeing her beat to bruises. He knew she had to get medical attention immediately.

Tim looked away from the scope seeing someone he was once close with held against him. He didn't want to have to shoot the suspect through Mel, but a job has to be done.

Mel was quite embarrassed being held in such a way. She was still left in her marshal's jacket with a bra on. She hated being sexualized like that in front of her colleagues.

"Let me go, or the bullet goes through her head." Kovak threatened, shouting loudly for all the officers to hear.

"I'm afraid we can't do that." Art replied through the radio.

Kovak appeared slighting over the shoulder of Mel. Her brown eyes kept a gaze at the marshals below, unknowingly there was a sniper in the window across the way. Her grip tightened on Mel, letting her cringe in pain.
