Chapter 2

Next thing I know my mom is tapping on my shoulder telling me we are at the airport.

We got out and gave our keys to 'Matt' the guys who parks the cars.

Right once we walked in I felt sick, airports are not my first go to place when trying to have fun. I don't really know why, maybe it's just the fact that i always have this weird feeling that i'll get some nasty dissease.

"Liah move, that man needs to get through!" My mom whispered to me

"Oh,oops, sorry" I said as I moved out of the way of the man.

I'm not one to judge but, he did scare the living shit out of me. He didn't even say anything, he just made a weird 'grunt' then pushed past.

"Some people!" I whispered to my mom who smirked and shrugged her shoulders

"Maybe, he's late for a very important date!" She chuckled slightly at her joke.

I looked at my phone, it read 6:43 am. Ugh, I'm usually not even up at this time, but here I am about to have the time of my life in an 8 hours plane ride! *note the sarcasm*

We had to rush through the crowd to get to gate 'g6' before it took off without us.

I lazily rubbed my eyes trying to keep them open and not run into anybody but, BAM! I collided with somebody.

Great. Not again!

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going,here let me help you! I-I'm sorry! " I said trying to help him pick up his papers.

"I'm Logan." He said holding his hand out for me to shake.

"Liah." I said giving him a small smile.

"Well. Nice to meet you Lilah bit if you don't mind I really can't miss my plane." He said walking away

Well that was awkward.

Wow, smooth move liah. Thats the second person you've bumped into today,get your shit together.

Today's not good so far , I guess I just have bad experience with people.

After walking around for a while and asking several people for directions we got to gate g6 just in time. As we borded the plane I shuffled down the isle until I found seats 16-17, I sat on the window side because I like to watch the ground as we take off, it's interesting watching the plane pick up speed. I feel like a superhero,going off to save somebody.

  "good morning ladies and gentleman, thank you for choosing american airlines. This flight will be taking off in chicago,illinois to london,England.Tthe estimated time for this flight is 7 hours and 15 minutes."

After going through all of the steps of ' how to put on a seatbelt' i put in my headphones and let my mind drift away.
