Ellie's p.o.v

"Ughhh, I'm bored" my friend Peter huffs.

"Well let's do something then" I mumble.

Peter and I are laying down in the grass outside my house. He's over all the time; it's like he lives here.

"Let's go into the woods" Peter says, staring longingly towards the thick cluster of trees.

"Okay!" I reply, I love the woods. This could end up being fun. "Hold on let me get my paint, it's on the porch"

"Why?"

"So that we can mark our path!" I say as if it's obvious.

As we head into the trees we stop to make sure we don't get lost. I mark a couple trunks and rocks along the way. There seems to be a couple paths out here anyways, so I don't do a lot of marking. It's beautiful out here, I definitely see myself being out here a lot.

"Look, a creek!" Peter exclaims, as he rushes down towards the water. We must've been walking for at least 5 minutes.

"Peter, be careful!" I say, I don't want him falling. I look up at the sky but all I see are trees. As I'm looking down something catches my eyes. It's a tree house! I wonder if it's stable...

I voice my thoughts to Peter. Forgetting all about the running water he runs straight through it and to the tree house. He climbs up to the top and disappears inside. I run after him climbing up also.

"Woah" Peter and I say at the same time.

It's amazing up here. There's a few boxed covered in dirt and a few tree stumps scattered around. Vines are crawling in from a window on the side wall. The window is facing directly towards the sun, allowing the rays to light up the room.

"We can't tell anyone about this" Peter says facing me.

I nod in agreement. If we tell anyone, we might not be able to come back out.

"Pinky promise?"

"Pinky promise."

"Wait, what about Harry?" I ask Peter.

"Okay, we can tell him but no one else" he sates.

With that we locked our pinkies and the secret of our treehouse.

"Before I moved here the owners that lived in my house had two sons" I tell Peter. "Maybe it this was theirs" I say referring to the tree house.

"Yeah, maybe" he says "or maybe two pirates owned it and kept their treasure here".

"Yeah"I laugh and look out the window towards my house "Maybe."

"Momma!! Can Peter spend the night?" I scream at the top of my lungs. I hope she can here me.

"I don't know, I'll have to ask his aunt!!" momma yells back.

Peter has been over all day. We've mainly been hanging out in the woods. Occasionally we would have to come out to get food and let momma know we were still alive. Now, It's starting to get late and he doesn't want to walk home. I agree, I don't want him going home anyways.

"What are we going to do if you spend the night?" I ask Peter.

"I don't know, we could stay up and watch movies" he offers.

"That's sounds good, it's summer so we can stay up all night" I say excitingly.

"He can stay!!" momma yells up the steps.

"Yay! party!" I yell, jumping up and down.

"No parties!" momma yells.

"Okay" Peter yells back.

"Now let's start watching those movies" I say heading towards the steps.

"Yeah, let's"
