The door to my new room opens and Thanos walks in.

"It's time to go over the rules, Elise," he says.

"What rules?" I ask. the last thing I need is rules, I hate rules.

"Walk with me and I'll tell you," he walks out of the room and I follow.

As we walk down the hall, I take in my surroundings. The walls are a shiny, gray stone that reflect my face back at me. The floors are a similar stone, only darker, they seem to resemble marble. All of the stone is in pristine shape. Everything is accented with purple. Purple paintings, purple sculptures, the purples are all different shades and reflect off the walls, making it seem as though the stone has a purple mix to it.

"Ah, we're here," Thanos says as we walk into a large room with the same design as the hall, only with golden chairs, "Take a seat".

I do as I'm told and sink into the chair, literally.

"So, onto our discussion, My Darling," he smiles. I don't like that smile, smiling doesn't fit him. "How are you liking it here?" he asks.

I look at him with disbelief clear on my face. He just kidnapped me for goodness sake! He can't truly think I like it here.

"Well, I don't like the pet name," I state, telling the truth.

"Sorry, Darling, it's staying," he says, with a smile. That weird, creepy smile, he must think it's normal.

"What did you need to talk to me about?" I ask, irritated with the use of Darling as my name. Hopefully we can get this talk over with and I can just go back to my uncomfortable bed.

"Well, since you are joining me here, you'll have to memorize my oath."

"I'm not memorizing any oath of yours, and I'm definitely not following any rules." I say defiantly. What makes him think he can rule over me and tell me what to do, he's not my father. Speaking of fathers...
"What did you do to my parents?" I ask. I can't believe I haven't asked this thing if he harmed my family! I highly doubt he would tell me if he did or didn't.

"Oh, I just left them a little message."

"A message? Are they okay?"I hurry to ask.

"They're fine.." he lingers, "Of course, they just lost their child but other than that, they're doing great."

Why am I so ignorant? my mom and dad are probably worried sick. If I just hadn't gone out in the ocean all this wouldn't be happening right now.

"Can I go back to my room now?" I ask firmly. I can't imagine the pain and guilt my parents are feelings right now. They've lost their only child.

"No. You still need to memorize the oath" he says sternly.

"Please, may I go to my room?" I croak, I'm on the verge of tears. I don't think I can handle this much longer.

Suddenly I'm thrown back against the chair; it slides all the way up against the wall, slamming into it. All ways of breathing are restricted.

"Now listen here, Darling, you will be reciting the oath whether you like it or not" he sneers. "You will memorize the oath and you will obey me!"

All I can do I grab at my throat. I can't breath. How is he doing this!? Why can't I breath? he's not even touching me! I can't do anything but stay here pinned into the chair which is pinned to the wall. What is happening!?

Thanos looks me in the eyes for a couple of seconds and then releases whatever hold he had on my neck.

"Do you hear me?" he yells at me as soon as I catch me breath.

"Yes, but I will not do as you like." I reply "I will not memorize or recite the oath and I will not obey you!" I say yelling back

"Fine, have it your way" he says to me. "Wait, no, I think I'll have it my way"

"What?" I ask. What is he talking about? The chair I'm sitting in slides off the wall and strait to Thanos.

"To the dungeons you go!" he happily bellows.

My eyes widen and the last thing I remember is the monster whispering something in my ear. Something along the lines of me not knowing how to access the dungeons.

And then everything goes black....
