Bolén lead me through a door that I assumed would bring me to the much needed attire I was lacking.
The door lead to another seemingly long corridor and warmth radiated off the walls that once again had the intricate small writing carved into it. I felt the urge to run my fingers along them again and unlock whatever story was written.
We soon came to stop infront of a door that seemed to be like the rest. She pressed her hand against the cool metal and it clicked open.
More questions.
She looked back at me and winked. And I found myself getting giddy with anticipation.
She held the door open for me, as I stepped further into the room lights began flickering on, slowly illuminating a room with a standard sized bed and a few cupboards for the purpose of what I'm assuming to be the storage of clothes.
She came in closing the door behind her and walked over to one of the cupboards, opening it to reveal rows upon rows of pants.
She turned around I was once again rendered speechless by her beauty as the light glinted across her eyes revealing the unique almost translucent goldish brown they possessed.
"JAMES!"
I was snapped out of my trance when I felt the metal buttons of the pants hit my face.
She tilted her head sideways and said an unsure "Sorry?"
I couldnt help my self and laughed until I keeled over, and she soon joined me in laughter until we were both clutching our sides and laying down on the carpeted area close to the bed.
"You were lost in thought just then."
I closed my eyes and drew the outline of her face in my head.
"Yep"
"What possessed your thoughts"
"You"
She was quiet with my admittance and I suddenly became aware of how close we were.
She must have sensed this too and abruptly stood up.
She looked down on me still laying on the floor.
"Put some pants on and get aquantied with your new living quarters." As soon as the sentence started she was gone and I was alone.
I stood up and unfolded the pants holding them infront of me pondering the reason why anyone would need to many pockets on one article of clothing. I felt the material and questioned its orgin considering it's never been something I've seen or felt back home. Similar to most of my journey since falling into the ship, the simplist of things left me in awe and wonder. Trapped in my inner musings as I put put my hands Into the pockets and explored every crevice with my hands, I didnt notice the door opening.
"Why are your hands on your butt"
My face gained some warmth as the voice spoke up on the scene of my hands in the back pockets of my pants. And I instantly pulled them out.
I turned around and saw a tall girl with pale skin and white hair and the most strikingly pale blue eyes I've ever seen, standing in my doorway fiddling with what seemed to be a knife.
She cleared her throat and walked towards me. "Stop staring".
"Well you guys arent making it easy for me."
Her eyes became slits as she looked at me. "What's that supposed to mean"
I raised my hands in sign of surrender.
"I didnt mean no harm I simply meant you're very unique"
She took one step closer and tilted her head to the side.
"What are you implying"
I cleared my throat and shifted my weight as I became intimidated.
"Well you're unlike anyone I've ever seen before?"
She took another step towards me and I forgot to breathe as she got closer I observed that she looks as scary as she does look somewhat mystical and alluring.
As I was trying to figure out if she was a friend or a foe by further examining her countenance, she smiled.
"Dont worry, I wont hurt you"
I began to become less tense.
She began to look around my room "It's against the rules anyways".
I chuckled nervously. She looked at me then up and down surveying me and I began to feel the same way I did under the stare of Bólen but I felt like her stare held more scrutiny.
She smiled at me again and I was somewhat more at ease.
"You're going to need a jacket"
She walked over to the elongated cupboard in between the one with the pants and pulled out a jacket similar to the one she and Bolén had on.
"Why do I need a jacket... I mean the temperature thus far has been pretty comfortable"
She looked at me with amusement in her eyes, hold the article of clothing in her hands waiting for me to take it.
"Well where we are going I'm sure you're going to be wanting it"
She pushed the jacket into my arms and started walking towards the door.
I rushed to take it off the metallic apparatus it was bonded to and put it on as I followed her out the door.
She made long strides to the end of the corridor back to where I entered with Bolén.
"Hey what's your name"
"Tentoria" was her reply.
What an odd name.
