HEEELLOOOO MY FRIENDS!! Are you all still here? I am so sorry for leaving for so long. But I have improved my writing skills so much more on my break and I am finally ready to continue! So without further ado, part 4.

-Also, in the first part, I was writing in first person. Sorry about the sudden switch in part 2.

As Walter trudged up the steps to his small house, there was a familiar shadow lurking next to the bush by the steps. He recognized it at once, sighing as he unlocked the front door. "Still hanging around my house while I work, I see. You've got nothing better to do?"

"Every time we meet, you have some prepared comment to make. I'm getting sick of it." Bular growled as he followed Walter inside. He quickly made himself comfortable on the broken chair, that had smashed to bits the first time Bular tried to sit in it. Walter locked the door, rubbing his eyes in annoyance. "You're like a child, Bular. And no, I don't prepare our conversations. But I could, if I wanted."

Another growl could be heard as he headed off to the kitchen to make some late night coffee. He'd need it with that beast sitting in his living room. Throughout the day, he had nearly forgotten that he, was indeed, the new trollhunter. Him. A changeling. It just didn't make any sense. But, this was a good thing. They could release Gunmar without any troubles. It would be easy. But still.. It didn't feel right.

"So. When we release Gunmar, I'll be protected.. right? You all won't just throw me away?" Walter spoke, his anxiety getting the best of him.

"We'll see. Father says what goes. We don't know what will happen to the impure." Bular snarled back, starting the chew on one of the broken chair legs. He knew what would happen. They all would die. That had been planned for years. Walter knew that.

"Well, perhaps you should go. It's getting late. I should turn in early." The older man said, sipping from his mug. The oversized troll got up, snarled one more time before he started to leave. "Don't chicken out now, 'Strickler'."

Those words sent shivers down Walter's back. He tried not to let it bother him as he drank his coffee and tried to watch a little tv. Not long after that, he received a text from a woman he had spoken to the night before.

        Barbara Lake.
