Her body was warm, almost writhing in pain from the ache of her muscles, but she continued relentlessly. Her hair was whipped back from her face in a loose bun; forgotten strands sticking to her forehead from the sweat that dropped down her face. Alex's breath was heavy and she could feel her limbs starting to go tired. To her they felt like dead weights pulling her down so she punched with more effort. Teeth clenched tightly she threw her fists to the bag of sand once again. Her knuckles were bleeding and the raw cuts were getting larger from each punch she took. She had to improve, she told herself. She wouldn't let herself be in that position once again, whatever those memories were, they were at a time she was weak and Alex is not weak. With that thought in mind she pulled back her leg towards her body, her knee barely grazing her abs before she kicked outwards and the bag of sand flew off of the chain once her foot made impact. The bag of sand hit the wall on the other side of the gym and she felt herself grimace.

A slow clap resonated across the gym ringing in Alex's ears. Her body slowly turned, her silver eyes squinting at the stranger. Three of them stood, Amber and Alec beside the handsome stranger that moved his hands to lay across his muscled chest. The stranger smirked at Alex's bedraggled appearance and huffing out a breath at his reaction Alex pulled her elastic band from her hair. Her platinum locks cascaded around her shoulders loosely and the attention of the stranger was drawn in by the colour. This time it was Alex's turn to smirk.

"Alpha Jaxon," he spoke confidently as his eyes moved back towards her own.

"Alex." She replied, her heartbeat returning to its original pace once again.

"Alpha Jaxon owns the Alascar Pack not far from here. He's visiting on the events of an apparent criminal hiding in several nearby packs." Amber explained, her soft voice filling any confusion left in Alex's mind.

From that brief introduction Amber smiled at Alex and strolled back towards the gym doors, Alec quickly following behind her. Jaxon stared at Alex for a few moments before turning on his heels and also leaving the room.

Shaking her head at the stranger she let her gaze wander back over the lone bag casted on the ground.

Her eyes faded over and the memory was present behind her eyes.

"Are you ready?" Harper asked, her green eyes staring intensely into Alex's. Alex shuffled uncomfortably before nodding her head to her question. Ever since the accident Kane and Harper had promised to help her bring back the memories she had lost.

"Good." Harper breathed.

Her hands crossed the table to hold Alex's, the smooth wood sticking to Alex's hands. As she glanced around the room that she was basically pushed into by Kane and Harper she noticed the silver and gold ornaments lined on the shelves. Glass cases held a large amount of jewels and other priceless objects. Dark purple curtains lined the walls hiding the cobbled brick beneath it: beaded cushions laid against a small window, a small couch perched underneath. A wisp of light had shone through the gaps of the mahogany and bubblegum pink cushions to shine against the wooden table. Alex stared at the polished wood, the edges worn down from obvious use and a lot of movement.

Candle flames shook from the evident breeze in the room, the same one that had slithered its way across Alex's spine.

"Look into my eyes Alex." Harper whispered, her fingers squeezing Alex's to grab her attention.

"I want you to breath through your nose and out through your mouth. Focus on the movement of your body that the breath causes and remove any thoughts from your mind." Harper softly spoke, her green orbs never leaving Alex.

Doing as she said, she began to breath deeply, her body starting to relax. Silver eyes remained unfocused on Harper's, the only sound and movement coming from the grandfather clock in the corner of the room. Then there it was.

Flickers of memories whipped past her eyes, moving all too quickly as if someone was only skimming through them in a hurry. Alex attempted to grasp them with the tips of her fingers, her hands almost scratching the surface of the photos. Realising she wouldn't be able to grab them all, she aimed for the nearest one. It was dark with white spots, the photo standing out to the rest. Plucking the photo with her fingers, the rest of the photos slicing her hands as they whipped past in their motion, she pulled it closer to her body. Her hands bled, the small scratches stinging painfully. Ignoring the slight sting she stared hard at the photograph; and that's when it began to move.

The once focused photo blurred as it wavered side to side, the darkness completely overtaking the tiny white spots. As she attempted to regain the focus the photo got bigger, it was if she was a camera lens zooming closer to the object. But the difference was she didn't know what the object was. A sudden urge to blink hit her and without a thought she succumbed to the urge.

Opening her eyes slowly she casted her eyes over the change of scenery. Dark trees shivered side to side, the wind blowing through the dead leaves. Turning her head forwards she met the sky, a dark arch of nothingness with white stars contrasting the background they stood in.

Sitting up, she glanced down at her petite body. Her legs had lost a few inches and her arms had got thinner than what they once was. A howl disrupted her thoughts and an unknown panic arose up to her lungs, grasping the muscles and stopping them from taking in any more oxygen. She had stopped breathing and she didn't know why. What had made her so petrified that she had almost suffocated herself into an oblivion?

Paws slapped against dirt, the sludge pushing itself between the pads of their feet. Their noses were raised high, the sweet smell of a Silverless Pack member had thrown them off guard when they were scouring the area. They never got to see a member of a pack, so lucky to belong, so so lucky to be accepted. The wolves growled in anger and their legs trudged faster, jumping over roots and diving under low branches. A clearing could be seen ahead, the parting of trees allowed a slither of light from the moon to be entered into the forest. They avoided the light, being seen was a large no. Rogues- trespassing on another's territory was instant death, public humiliation. But they didn't care, no, they wanted revenge.

Yes, it was a bit inappropriate to take revenge on a girl that had no say in them being tossed out of their pack. She was a stranger to them, they didn't know her. But that didn't matter; anyone apart of a pack was an enemy. And they had also been paid by the Blykos Pack to scout the area, to find weak points in their borders. They just couldn't say no, they had no reason to. What was a bit of revenge?

Helloooooo
I'm trying to change it up a bit, but so far I'm failing miserably :(
I must say I never thought the day would come when I would write a memory within a memory. Memory-ception.
I hope you enjoyed today's chapter and if you did don't forget to leave a vote and comment.
Thank youuuu.
Lots of love,
