Part 5:1 Bitten

 (Flare's POV)

I don't know how it happened but me and the gang end up stuck on a broken bus with two of the gorgon sisters Stheno and Euryale in the front. "Come on little demigods we know you're back there come out dearies'' I could hear Euryale who was slithering her way to up the bus checking the seats for us. I looked to the right of the bus to see Lily and Joseph scared out of their wits, I wouldn't blame them though I was a little frightened on my first quest as well.

Jessica and I readied our swords her with Tidal wave and me with Black blade. "Ok Flare you go after Euryale i'll get Stheno." I nodded to Jessica's plan. "Hey what can we do to help?" Lily asked anxious to assist. "You two can help by hiding back here and staying out of our way." I answered before jumping out screaming my mighty war cry. "Hey Euryale come get me snake head!" I said to Euryale and she launched at me as I tried my best to avoid the venomous snakes on her head that were trying their best to bite me. As I douge and block Euryales attacks I heard a terrifying scream behind me. "You shall pay for that sea brat!"Looking back Jessica had stabbed Stheno in the shoulder.

Suddenly there was a terrible pain on my right arm looking down I realised I was bitten.'Shit' before I could even react everything went black.

(Jessica's POV)

I watched as Flare fell to the floor already as white as paper.'Oh gods no!' I blocked another one of Stheno's strikes. "Jessica are you sure we can't help Flare doesn't look so well." Lily asked staring at Flare with worry. "I'll be fine! Just stay out of trouble!." I told them as Euryale tried to grab my neck and Stheno went to punch me but I ducked and Stheno punched Euryale instead.

"Euryale you imbecile!"

"I'm the imbecile?! Why would you strike at the same time as me?!"

"That was not my fault!"

As the two sisters fought I went over to Flare to check on her. I put my fingers on her neck and Check her pulse. "Still alive barely though." I sighed. As I was about to turn my attention to the twins I heard the both of them scream and then golden dust fly everywhere. Turning around Lily and Joseph both had swords out and were standing in front of a pile of dust. "Told you we can help!" Lily said smiling ear to ear. I nod at them and look at Flare come on guy's let's get hear out of here." And with that Joseph picked up Flare and we walked out the bus never looking back.

(Flare's Dream)

I was somewhere in the woods looking around when a rustle was heard from the bushes. "W-who's there!" I cursed myself for stuttering when a bore came out but then a black smoke surrounded the bore and a man in greek armor with jet black eyes and hair.

"H-how?! Ares."

" Hey child what's poppin"
