Pink Book Bugs and Opossums

You've got to love vivid dreams; well you should, if they aren't frightening. I dreamt I was in a huge space-aged library, truly heaven for me, and I was in the upper mezzanine area that overlooked the first floor. When I pulled a book out from the stacks, I opened it and a brilliant pink bug flew out. It was flat and rectangular shaped, and about one and a half inches by one inch wide. One flew over the banister and down to the second floor to the ground level to land, and a horde then flew from the stacks of books to gather in a swarm on the tiled surface. The rabble of bugs grew in height, and they began to herd two opossums out of my view towards the circulation desk beneath me. One, however, flew up on the balcony and landed in front of me. I was amazed by its beauty and its wafer thin shape. I crushed it with my shoe.
