song: easy love - lauv

your pov:

my family, parker, and marley, and i pulled up to the airport, we grabbed the sign with joey's name on it and jumped out the car. we made the sign a couple weeks ago, we just got too excited.

"mom, we should take no longer than about 10 minutes." i told her before catching up to parker and marley.

we got inside and stood by the baggage claim to make sure joey could see us and find us. i soon saw her coming up with her suitcase in hand, i lose my shit.

"hello love, i missed you, and i love you, and i can't believe you're actually here, this weekend is going to be so fun, oh my god, i'm so happy to see you!" i shouted while sprinting towards her.

"hey sweets, oh how i've missed you too, i still feel like i'm dreaming, we have to make the best of it!" she yelled back.

we soon collided and wrapped our arms around each other, we ran so fast to one another that when we collided, we fell. we just stood there on the floor, squeezing one another, and laughing. i was filled with so much happiness.

we soon departed and offered our friends into the hug. we stood there for a good 5 minutes, hugging, giggling, breathing, and enjoying each others presence.

just after, we released our grips and headed back to our car. we put joey's suitcase in the trunk, and headed to the restaurant.

we arrived at the restaurant to find it was completely packed, the only table that was open was ours.

we went up to the hostess about our reservation and she then led us to our table. we chose where we'd sit

parker, me, joey, marley
my mom, nathan, molly, beth

we sat down, took off our coats and decided what we wanted to drink. the waitress soon appeared and took our drink order. she later arrived with a tray that laid our drinks, she passed them out and we got up to get our first round of food.

i got up and walked over to the rows of food, i grabbed a plate and tried to decide what i wanted, but i just couldn't. i finally just randomly walked up to a bar and got whatever was there, salad, it was, i guess.

i was the last one to my table, as i sat, i felt eyes on me, eyes i hadn't noticed until now, but when i looked up no on was gazing at me, so i went on to eat.
