Sooner ( Ivor x F! Jesse )

Jesse walked around Beacontown, hoping to find a special someone. Not only
to ask them questions but also to confess her undying love for them. As the leader
of this noble town passed through many builds, she felt her cheeks heat up as she
the possibilities of what she could say.

" uh hi, I like you? " she thought. She quickly shook her head at what she just said.
" what? No, Jesse, you've got to be more professional than that. " she told herself.
She continued making her way to her crush's home and sighed as she was face
to face with him.

Ivor, he wasn't inside in his home after all, he was just working In his garden.
" garden? Ivor has a garden? " her eyes widened as she saw the bearded man
planting fresh roses. She was about to open the gate when she saw another
silouhette with Ivor.

Their hair was fixed into a braid, she had a dark yellow robe and a brown hood over
her hair. Jesse growled as she found out who it was. Harper, that witch.
The black haired girl watched as Harper was helping Ivor out with gardening.
They were giggling and telling jokes to each other. That only infuriated Jesse
more.

At that, Jesse slammed the gate open, getting the attention of both Ivor and Harper.
" Hey guys, what are you talking about? " Jesse said only interested at what Ivor had to say. Harper smiled and put her hoe away. " we were just making jokes about old builders. " she said happily. Ivor smiled back. " yeah and to be honest, they're pretty funny " he chuckled while glancing over at Harper.

Jesse stood there with a fake smile at Harper. She didn't like her presence here. Especially around him. " so, you guys have been great friends? " she asked.  Harper nodded. " yeah! We hanged out a lot for these few days! We had so much fun!" Ivor giggled.

There was pained expression on Jesse's face but it was unnoticeable beyond her fake smile. " that's cool. " she silently told them. She looked back at the exit before sighing. " that puts the thing I wanted to tell you to shame. " she looked down. But Harper grabbed her chin and pulled her head up. Their eyes met and Jesse
couldn't help but hiss and slap her hand  off her chin.

" don't touch me! " she snapped. Harper backed away and looked down herself.
" oh sorry, I just wanted you to feel better..." She frowned shamefully. Jesse rolled
her eyes and still kept a hostile look on her face. " yeah well, you've only made me worst. Thank you for ruining everything you bratty old witch. " The girl said in tears before walking to the gates.

Ivor, with widened eyes, ran towards the leader of Beacontown and grabbed her hand. " Jesse! Wait! " he panted and looked at her straight in the face. The girl turned her head and shook her hand so that Ivor could let go of me. " what are you gonna do? Tell me everything will be alright? " she crossed her arms.

The man shook his head. " No, but please tell me what's wrong? " he pleaded.
Jesse let out a small ' pfft '. " I bet you wouldn't even care for what I was gonna tell you. " she said harshly. Ivor got impatient and told her again. ' no'

" Jesse, I care about you, because you're a great person. " he complimented.
But she threw it all away like it was trash. " Hm, why don't you tell that to your ' awesome friend ' Harper? " she said sarcastically. Ivor sighed. " and why would u say that? That compliment was for you. And you only. " he protested.

" I'm not important Ivor, forget about me. " she looked away and continued her way.
But at that, Ivor pulled her into a hug. His shaking hands around her. He was at a loss
of words and just rested his head on his shoulder.

Jesse blushed at that action and smiled and tears even dropped on his robes.
" Jesse, I care about you a lot. Now what were you gonna say? Without you escaping me. " he asked. The girl felt her palms sweat up and face turn even redder. With one hand, she brushed away some tears and sniffled. " Ivor...I..I'm worried..." She told him. "I'm worried that you like Harper more than me...because...I love you! Ever since we met! You've always been the one, my heart catched on! " she confessed, blushing like crazy. The man's eyes widened at the confession and couldn't help but smile. He pulled away and put his hands on her shoulders  before pushing them forward  resulting in him kissing her.

Jesse only took a second before kissing him back. His lips were soft, warm and gentle. This was officially the best feeling she ever felt in her whole life. She kissed back softly, feeling very happy.

Once they pulled away, they chuckled. " I love you too Jesse.." He said to her.
The girl laughed and looked back at Harper. Who was planting more flowers.
But he pushed her back to face him. " nope, you're mine. " he giggled. Jesse blushed.

" but in all seriousness, why didn't you tell me sooner? "

" Blame Harper..."
