It all happened so quickly. Eyes shut, the skies were clear, there cheers resonating from the streets of this floating empire. In a blink of an eye, havoc was created. Everywhere, violent screams escaping the terrified villagers of the beautiful island of: Sky city. Buildings were destroyed, so many materials lost that day. Shame really, no one expected such a spectacular finish from this prestigious city. Yet to think, they had quite durable ressources, just not many. Why couldn't the people build defences against threats like these? Perhaps, if they did, these three rebellious fiends wouldn't have had their hands embrace the eversource ever so tightly.

If Jesse and his friends hadn't arrived, the founder would be at a loss for words. Despite being trained enough to withstand a basic raid from monsters, no one could have predicted that the blazerods would depict their wrath by flooding the once beautiful city with mindless beasts. Luckily, no one was quite showered in their own blood. Everyone was able to escape with rather minor injuries. Thanks to Jesse and his friends, they saved them all. Below them, all this time, there was an island and then. The villagers couldn't be anymore delighted at the seemingly unlimited source of discoveries. So many substances, so many things to work with.

Of course, that day, the three criminals were stopped. This wasn't unpredictable. The leader, Aiden, knew this would happen. That they would be stopped by no surprise, crazy Jesse and his henchmen. It was just, not fair. Why couldn't he be the hero for once? Why couldn't he impress the people back at home with the land him and his friends acquired valiantly? That may be the case, but no one said it was claimed with justice. Aiden and the rest of the blazerods did quite the opposite. They worried Jesse thus angering the townspeople. However, Aiden was overwhelmed when he had heard the news. Yes, he remembers it all too well. He approached the heroes, his hands kept behind his back. He couldn't do anything about it, they were handcuffs.

"If you're here to rub your victory in my face, go on, I dare you." He claimed sadly. His two friends: Gill and Maya disappeared from his view. Both walking away oh so gently towards the cells they will be staying in for millennia. Just the thought gave him a heartache. Aiden was guilty, he was well aware of what he had done to these people, to those that never asked to be orphans. Shame swept across his face as he couldn't stand the tension between him and Jesse. The boy was eyeing him, it felt. His heart throbbed. Oh Jesse, just get on with it already. He couldn't stand it. What would it be? Would he get yelled at? Punished? Executed? Ahaha...executed? Aiden couldn't imagine his story ending that way. It just seemed...all too surreal. Thankfully, the word and its definition vanished from his mind when Jesse informed him of the following: "Aiden, you can calm down. You will not be executed. You will just be seeing some jail time. Is that good enough for you?"

Aiden scoffed. Will that be good enough for you? Pathetic, who does Jesse think he is? Asking him such questions, all high and mighty as if he was an uncovered saint to this world. With such kindness as well, that, he cannot understand. "Yes, very much so." He replied quietly. He wasn't in the mood to speak to Jesse, the one who always gets away with everything. He is the reason why he couldn't go forth with his plans—with his future on becoming a hero. Now that, was the fate Aiden oh so desperately wanted to believe. He wanted to be a hero, be admired by all the citizens back from their hometown. He silently laughed, guess he can let go of that. He will never become a hero. But somehow, he couldn't walk away. He felt a strange string connect him to Jesse? What was it? What did he wanted to do with him?

The criminal was astray. What did he wanted more than to be forgiven by these terrifying people? A few minutes ago, he was going on about being a hero, how he wanted to do the right thing but Jesse was right here. His eyes widened little by little at the realization. The words formed in his mouth almost instantly. His eyes were lifted to face the boy in front of him. "Can you tell me what it takes to be a real hero?" He questioned out of the blue, breaking the silence between them. Ah yes, the question surprised the both of them. One looked so des in thought while the other was desperate for an answer. Time passed, Jesse stood there, gleaming at the boy in handcuffs. 'Answer me, answer me...' Aiden repeated over and over in his mind. Why was he so determined to look for answer?

"Being a hero means doing the right thing that helps society, that helps this world continue existing. It could be anything, stopping villains, saving others in need, fixing something or even down to the littlest of things. Just believe about what you think is right. Continue forth with that belief of yours and you'll end up being a hero without even realizing it." Jesse explained to him. He was so confident with his words. Was he always this prepared? Aiden didn't have the time to thank him, he found himself being pushed away in the direction of the jailhouse. He sighed. This is where he would spend his life in the next few years. A part of his heart ached at his separation from the people he knew from his hometown. But that's when he thought. The reason why it hurt so much was the fact that he admired the young hero very much. He wanted to be a hero just like him, he wanted to fight alongside Jesse and the order. Still, despite not being exactly forgiven by him yet, he will still admire the boy for his good deeds.
