Okay so here's chapter 2. You will find out more about Leah, so yeah enjoy! Oh and GUESS WHO'S GOING TO A ONE DIRECTION CONCERT!!!!! WHOO!!!! Sigh, it's gonna be fun.
I am awestruck by this girls beauty. Long golden hair, blue eyes and a curvy figure. She smiles when she sees I'm smiling at her, probably thinking I'm being friendly. She slides into the seat with a heavy sigh.
"Oh this day isn't starting well. I mean this school is huge! It's so easy to get lost, like me for example." She chuckles.
"Tell me about it. I'm a senior and I still get lost." I return the chuckle.
"What is the topic?" She asks.
"Back to the Future Part II. 2015, is it going to happen or not?"
"Ah, now thats a valid question, thanks."
"I'm Seth by the way, Seth MacFarlane."
"I'm Leah, Leah Sinatra." She smiles an irresistible smile.
Her last name is familiar. Just recently I had discovered Frank Sinatra. I wonder if there's any connection. I decide to go out on a limb and ask her.
"Sinatra, don't suppose there's a connection to Frank Sinatra?"
Her face lights up. "Yes there is! Nobody makes a connection, you're the first person to do so! Are you a fan, Seth?"
My heart flutters when she says my name. "Yeah, I think he's amazing!"
"So do I and I am not just saying that because he's my uncle."
"No way! That's awesome!"
"Tell me Seth, do you have advanced animation study next?"
"Yeah, why?"
"So then we can finish this conversation without the death stare from the teacher." She giggles.
I look to the front desk. Leah was right the teacher was giving us death stares.
"Mr MacFarlane, Miss Sinatra, are you finished having your little conversation?" The teachers voice is cold.
"Yes, sorry." I lower my head.
"Well get to know one another in your own time."
"Yes ma'am."
As soon as the class ends and Leah and I are outside, we burst into laughter.
"That was hilarious." She says trying to breathe after laughing so much.
"I know, I never get into trouble." I laugh even more.
"Neither do I. Oh boy!" She starts laughing again.
I do something really impulsive. "You know Leah, she had a bit of a point when she said get to know each other in our own time."
"Seth are you asking me out on a date?" She tilts her head to one side, her golden hair shining in the sun.
"If you call asking you to dinner a date, then yes I am." I smile.
"Well that depends, do you want it to be a friendly dinner or a more than friendly dinner?" She moves in close to me.
"Personally, a more than friendly dinner."
"I would love to, so I guess it's a date. I'll meet you at the entrance around 8:00, sound good?"
"Yeah."
"Alright. Well come on then, we have a class to get to."
Still smiling, I follow her to the next class and the ones after those. I soon work out she is in all of my classes and my smile grows as wide as it will allow me.
As the day goes on, I find out we have so much in common. Not only in music but in TV, movies, religious beliefs and we have a similar sense of humour. A little part of me is worried that we won't have anything to talk about when we go to dinner but that part is overridden by the fact that no matter what, even now, we are still talking.
A great thing is that she is so easy to talk to. I've never met anyone like Leah, she makes me laugh and become impulsive.
As the last class for the day nears its end, I feel a little depressed. I won't get to see Leah again until we go to dinner together. Even though we have spent all the breaks together. She notices this and takes my hand in hers.
"Hey look, think of not seeing me for a while like this. It's a chance to get all pretty for tonight."
I smile, that must be for the hundredth time today. She's right though. I am pulled back to reality by the harsh sound of the bell.
"See you tonight." She smiles.
"Yeah." I say.
"Wear something pretty."
"You too Leah."
"Oh don't worry, I will." She gives me a cheeky smile.
I walk back to my room with a smile on my face, a skip in my step and a light feeling in my heart. I don't think I have ever felt like this. I have never felt like this towards any girl that's for sure.
I think back to The Sound of Music, when Maria and the Captain are in the gazebo and they are both telling when they first started to love one another. Maria's when he first blew that silly whistle and the Captain's when she sat on that ridiculous pine cone.
I think the first time I started loving Leah was when I heard her sweet voice. Wait, did I just say that I love her? I did, and I do. Love at first sight, well love at first sound but still.
Here's hoping this dinner goes well.
Well, what do you think? So next chapter will be the dinner date. Oh and Seth did discover Frank Sinatra in college so yeah. And Leah and Seth's song is "You Belong To Me" by Harrison Craig, he's a really good Australian singer. Please vote and comment, would love to hear suggestions and it might be put in the story. You never know. Anyway hope you enjoyed the chapter and I will try and write the next one quickly but no promises. School will get in the way. Okay see ya people's!
