What's Wrong?

I meet several other people that day but all they say is Easton was a good person and they regret her death. I meet William that night in the hotel's bar" I just found one suspect Ms Zara." I tell him about the day's happening. I pass the case file with her information. He gives it a brief look and says," Her flight is cancelled due to fog. Just so may I know is there anything you are hiding? "He gives me a suspicious look. 'What on this earth has happened to him?' I think and decide better not to speak yet I go on," Why what did you hear?" With a tinge of bitterness, somehow that surprises me at how angry I am.

Before he can say anything the fire alarm goes on. In that commotion, he pulls me by my arm and pushing me against a wall he speaks," You are a fair lady." I am starting to get scared at that remark and that must be showing on my face because he tightens his grip around my arm. Then handing me a piece of paper he speaks," You must have told me I must have resigned at spot. How can I forget it is a part of you to play with emotions." After he leaves me I check the paper it reads:

"Meet me at the corodova restaurant , Western corner ,at 10 pm."

The paper is crumpled and the number of lines that run through it are more than I can count. 'How did he get this? It is not even in France. It is at my home locked in my cupboard, hundreds of miles away." The fire alarm that had been going on and on now stops. Both of us return back to our home. Although we were sitting next to each other all through the flight and in the car both of us don't utter even a single word. This silence is enough to kill me. I don't know why but I want him to speak. I want him to tease me, irritate me and make me laugh.

That night, after reaching home, I go through the file Zara gave me. It is very confusing. Though she has directly not suggested any name yet the file suggests five different names. I have met Mr. Roger, Mr. Spencer, and the rest is underworld Mr. Cliff , Mr. Ben and Mr. David. There is a last page that I don't flip thinking it will just have something unimportant, like most of it as it was just facts and her schedule. Taking it as a waste of time I skip the page but I never knew it would have helped me save a lot of time.
