chapter three

rachel was at the diner she had gone straight from nyada she was worried about what might be going on at the loft as blaine was working the same shift as her meaning kurt and sebastian might be alone together and rachel couldnt help but worry about that.

" table for one" a voice said as she wiped a table she turned and saw sebastian she immediately felt her face flush after what happened this morning.

" oh...over here" rachel said leading to a small table in her section.

"i figured i was best out of the loft with kurt being there" sebastian said

" yeah thats probably the best idea" rachel said

"hey seb everything ok" blaine asked walking over.

" i thought i best not be alone with kurt plus im hungry" sebastian said

" here is your menu " rachel said

" can i get you a drink" blaine asked

" a soda" sebastian said

" is there anything you would recommend " sebastian asked her as he looked at the menu.

" our mac and cheese is pretty popular " rachel said

" sounds good" he said handing her the menu back she went and placed his order then saw to other tables.

once hus order was up she carried it his table he smiled at her and he began tucking in racgel once more found herself wondering what was up with him.

"rach i dont feel well im been sent home" blaine said rachrl turned to see blaine wasnt looking very well.

" ok hope you feel better soon" she said.

" what time do you finish" sebastian asked

" nine but with blaine going home it might be later" rachel said

rachel left him to eat and served other tables the diner was as usual pretty busy though sebastian stayed for the rest of her shift.

finally at quarter past nine she finished as she walked out if the staff room she saw sebastian putting his jacket on and placing the money for his meal and several sodas on his table.

they left the diner and began walking in the direction of the subway when sebastian suddenly touched her arm making her stop walking.

" what" rachel asked

" do you want to get a drink" sebastian asked

" oh um ok" rachel said wondering why him having asked her that had caught her off guard he is gay rach she told herself.

rachel tuck him to callbacks and she sat down whilst he got their drinks only as he was at the bar brody turned up and sat at their table.

" hey " brody said

"hey" rachel said

" i have missed hanging out with you" brody said putting his hand on her thigh.

" hello" sebastian said rachel turned to see him giving brody a fairly menacing glare.

" oh i didnt realise you were on a date" brody said looking at rachel.

" im guessing your the ex" sebastian said handing rachel her drink but not taking his eyes off brody.

" yeah im guessing your the new guy"brody said

" whats it to you" sebastian said

" i will go but see you around rach " brody said kissing her cheek before leaving sebastian sat don and tuck a big drink of his drink.

" he is an ass" sebastian said

" how do you know" rachel asked

"blaine told me wbout him selling himself putting your health at rish slimy bastard " sebastian said rachel wondered when and why blaine had discussed brody with sebastian.

" i need another drink" sebastian said

the night past by and by the time they were in the elevator going up to the loft rachel was feeling tipsy and when the elevator stopped and the doors opened she stumbled and started to fall only sebastian caught her.

" come on lightweight" he said rachel looked at him and caught him looking at her lips.

once rachel was laid in bed she replayed sebastian looking at her lips surely it was her imagination sebastian was gay he liked blaine.

the next morning

rachel had a day off kurt had left for vogue.com earlier blaine was in bed sick whrn rachel got up to make herself a coffee sebastian wasnt on the couch. she assumed he was taking a shower the memory of him naked flooded her mind she felt hot she shook her head come on rach she told herself he is gay gorgeous yes but he is gay.

as she stood there trying and failing to get the image of him naked out of her mind the door to the loft opened and in walked sebastian carrying several grocery bags but it wasnt the bags tgat caught her attention. it was the red puffiness of his eyes it was clear he had been crying.

" sebastian i know you dont want to tell me whats troubling you but you cant go on like this" rachel said and watched as the usually cocky overly confident sebastian burst into tears.
