2weeks had passed from the death of Amy. There was already a funeral and everything. Scarlet was sitting quietly on her computer alone.

"Hey honey. I'm back from work." Scarlett's mom said walking into her room. "Hey mom..." Scarlet said annoyed. "Where's your brother?" She asked. "I don't know. I think in his room." Scarlet replied. She gave her a smile and Mom left the room.

Scarlet was sleeping when she heard a door slam. She quickly got out of bed and quietly made it through the hallway, down the steps, spying into the kitchen.

"I work 10 hours a day for us! And what do you do all day Barbra? Huh? Anything productive for this family?" Scarlet's dad yelled.

"Yes, i do!" her mother screamed back. "I act like a mother! Maybe you should start acting like a father! Life doesn't revolve around work, your kids should always be first!"

"I work hard everyday! I get money! And I put food on our table don't I?" they kept going. "No, actually I do that because I cook and clean for you too!" Barbra I can honestly say had a great comeback.

"Well maybe you should work harder!" Dad said. "Maybe you should leave sooner!" Mom yelled back. Scarlet stood there shocked.

Dad's leaving?? she thought.

Scarlet went back upstairs, hearing more yelling, more screaming, and finally a bedroom door slam and the sound of her father stomping down the steps to the living room.

Scarlet had so much on her mind. It was a rough night sleep wise.

Scarlet woke up to the smell of bacon. That was Casey's favorite breakfast. But wait, it wasn't Casey's birthday, graduation, or any other celebration so why would she make him bacon?

Scarlet walked down stairs to see her mom and dad sitting at the table without a sound, while a freshly made breakfast was sitting on the table.

"Are those your homemade banana muffins?" Scarlet asked shocked. "Yes, I made them for you." Mom replied back with a faint smile. Scarlet's face grew fainter to, so she sat down and began to eat.

Casey walked past them headed for the front door. "Hey guys, I'm going to Jordon's I'll see you gu- wait is that bacon?" he said suddenly then walked over toward the table. "Yes I made it for you." Mom said. "Wait, it's not any special occasion...mom, dad, what's going on?" Casey asked confused. "Sit down, son." Dad said.
