Karma's a Beach

jenah's pov:

It was a hot day during fall break when my sister and I took my three cousins and their three friends to Santa Cruz. I took the four littlest ones on the kitty rides. I was having trouble with the two 4 year olds (Logan and Luke) a 7 year old (mitchell) and an 8 year old (Chris). Then I heard a voice behind me asking if I needed help. I turned around to see the guy that I have been crushing on since I saw him on the first day of school my freshmen year. His name is Logan he is tall, has dreamy brown eyes, and slightly long swoopy blondish brown hair.

"Hey Jenah, Do you need some help?" Logan asks.

"Sure" i say and blushed surprised he actually knew my name. I mean he is a grade older then me. We started walking to a ride i helped the kids get on and then sat on a bench with Logan waiting for the kids to get off the ride.

"So how are you liking high school?" he asked.

"Its ok i guess" i replied.

"Why? What happened?" he asked seeming genuinely concerned.

"Well its just i don't have many friends anymore and some people are really judgemental and i get annoyed by people quite easily and..." i was saying until the kids came and interrupted me.

I counted them 1, 2, 3, and...

"Oh my god where's Chris?" i say loudly.

"It's ok we'll find him." Logan says.

"No you don't understand... he has ran away multiple times before and if I don't find him I don't think I'll ever live with myself the same way." I say starting to freak out even more.

"I'll call my brother and see if he can find him." he says wraping his arm around me trying to calm me down a bit while pulling out his phone and calling his brother.

A couple minutes later I saw Ethan (Logan's brother) walk up to us with Chris by his side.

"Oh my god thank you so much!" I say to Ethan super happy to see Chris again.

"What happened Chris? Why did you leave?" I ask him.

"Because I'm not having fun." he says with a pout.

"But when you're with me you always have fun." I say tickling him a little.

He giggled and we went walking ack to the arcade where Breanne was.

"Hey can I take the two older ones now please I'm now in the mood to ride some rides." I ask her.

"Sure." she says. We swaped the two younger boys for the two older boys who are 10 years old (tyler) and an 11 year old (Adam).

The first ride we went on was the Double Shot. it was the four boys and then me in Logan in the two on the side. When we were at the top we started talking about random things like the beach and a guy who was sleeping in the sand.

When got off we went to look at the picture we took we were both making a funny face so he bought it. Then we went on the Giant Dipper, then the Fire Ball and then on the Haunted Castle.

It was starting to get dark so we went on the Sky Line.

"So... I had a good time today." Logan said shyly.

"Yeah tday was really fun." I said.

We got off and started walking towards the arcade to get Breanne but he turns me towards him and I just look at him waiting for whats going to happen next.

"So... umm... would you... uhh... like to go with me some other time... well closer to home i mean?" he asks mumbling on some of his words and he blushed a little.

"Sure I'd love to." i say giggling a little at how cute he was.

He then hugs me and walks away. Gosh he smelt good I think to myself.

"Who was that?" Breanne asked.

'Nobody." I say quickly blushing a little.

then ethan walks out from around the corner. I give them a puzzled look.

'What's going on here?" I ask.

"Come on Jenah im sure you can figure it out." Ethan says.

"Well I really hope it's not what I'm thinking. Breanne you are in college and he is still in high school." I say.

"Hey I'm still a senior." Ethan says.

"But still it's weird plus Breanne you have a boyfriend." I say.

They all start laughing.

"What? Why are you laughing?" I ask.

"We all want you two to get together." Tyler says.

i give a shocked face.

"Yeah, and i only walked away so you two could get closer." Chris says.

"What? I was freaking out. I hate you guys!" I say

Then i wake up from my dream. Dang that was an amazing dream. It was like a complete flashback of the day I had my frist boyfriend.

I looked at the clock it said 6:15. I got out of my bed and hopped in the shower. Then I got out and got dressed. I walked down to the kitchen. Grabed some food and went to my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Then i went to school and got there at around 7:50.

I hoppeed out of the car and walked towards my locker.

"Hey babe." My boyfriend Daylen said.

"Hey." I say a little out of it because my mind is still stuck on Logan. We went out a coulpe of times when I was still a freshmen but then it didnt work out because he found someone else. Now I'm a Junior. And this is the first time I've dated someone sinse the big break up.

"You ok?" my friend Zoe asks.

"Yeah." I say.

I finally reach my locker and open it and grab my books for first period.

"You sure? my other friend Carina asks.

i shake my head no but say yes quietly but only Carina and my other friend Nicole notice because Daylen was talking to one of his football buddies and Zoe's hovering around him like a lost puppy dog.

I mean I know he is attractive and sometimes she can't stop talking about him but he is my boyfriend not hers so does she seriously have to do that.

I walk towards where my first period class Carina and Nicole followed because they have it with me. We have APES First Period with Ms. Cronk. We went to class early because I didn't want to talk to annoying people plus it's in the middle of the year and we arent doing much before Christmas Break so she just gives us a lab and we work on it. Nicole and Carina sit togher right in front of meand i sit in the back row in the corner and no one is sitting to my right.

"Hey are you ok?" Carina asks.

I shrug a little then the bell finally rings.

People pile into the class and she explains the work to everyone even though she already explained it to us.

"Dude tell us whats wrong." Nicole says.

"Fine, do you remeber freshmen year how I went to Santa Cruz and me and Logan started dating?" i ask. they Shake their heads yes, "Well I had a dream last night about the day he helped me with the boys and now I just cant get it out of my head."

They looked back and forth between me and each other. Just then a guy walks into the classroom.
