Nico's POV
As I saw the school I groaned. It was my first day at a mortal school and I did not want to go. Although today, my father personally drove me here, which I was grateful for.

"Father, why do I need to go to high school?" I inquired

"Nico, you need to meet new people and learn more about social skills. " I sighed, I knew he was right but still I didn't want to go. And it's not like I have no friends, heck I even have a wonderful boyfriend.

As we got to the school my father said "Good luck, and don't worry about bullies, I'll make sure you don't get bullied. "

"Father! You're going to embarrass me. " I exclaimed.

He just smirked at this, then said: "The chauffeur will pick you up Ok?"

"Ok" I replied in a monotone voice and he drove off. As I walked into the building, I could already hear people talking about me, and not in a good way. I ignored them, but as I put my stuff in my locker someone attempted to push me. I caught their arm and pushed it back to them. Then I went to the first-period history. I sat in the back and wished that I was back at camp with Will.

I was just sitting there when the teacher said "Okay class, today we are going to talk about the Greek gods. " I scoffed quietly this is what I had to go to school for?

"Now, " the teacher continued "Who can name some Greek gods?" a girl in a pink outfit with way too much makeup said in an annoyed voice "Jupiter?"

The teacher replied with "No, that's a Roman god, not Greek, anyone else?"

I slowly raised my hand "Yes?" she asked "Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, Dionysus, Hades, Iris, Hypnos, Nemesis, Hecate, Hebe, Nike, Tyche."

I said she, and the entire class looked at me shocked then the girl from earlier said "What's he gonna do now speak Greek?" then her and her friend laughed until I said "Μπορείτε να μιλήσετε ελληνικά;" (Translation: Can you speak Greek?) at that, she huffed and hunched in her chair.
After two more periods of class, we finally had lunch.

I had brought my lunch and sat down alone at a table until the 'Jupiter' girl came up and tried to flirt with me "Hey, you were pretty smart in Greek class today" she said with a flirty smile as she tried to pull her shirt down a little to show her cleavage.

"Thanks, "I said in a monotone voice as she tried to continue to flirt, I heard lots of voices. I ignored her then got up to see what was going on. Just then I saw lots of girls huddled around some blond guy when I got closer I saw that it was Will!

I pushed through the girls and said "Will! Oh, my gods! You're here?"

He suddenly had a huge smile on his face and said "Yeah Neeks I go to school here. "

"Since when?" I asked

"Since for about a year. " he replied. Then we hugged.

And he said "I am joining you for lunch, doctors orders. "

I smiled and nodded "Ok"

When we go to my table, the girl said "Oh! Who's this handsome guy?" then Will said "I'm Nico's boyfriend, so shoo. " as we sat down I shoved my face into Will's shoulder because my face was bright red.

He just kissed my head and then said "Nico, you need to eat, here" as he handed me my sandwich. As I was eating, Will was just kind of babbling on. I smiled at this, he was cute when he was talking rapidly. When he stopped talking for a second, I asked him "What do you have next period?"

"Just gym" he replied casually.

"Me too!" it was one of those few moments when I actually got excited about something. We continued talking until the bell rang "See you at the gym" he said

"See you" I stopped by my locker on the way to grab my gym clothes, then I went to the locker room to change. When I got into the locker room, it was chaos, and not the god (😂) it also smelled like the dead, no lie.

I cautiously took off my shirt to put on the uniform when I heard a "Dang, he is super pale. " I looked over and the jerk that tried to push me earlier was there.

"So... What's your point?" I responded as I pulled on the red gym shirt.

"Don't you ever see the sun?" he said as Will walked in.

I smirked "Yeah, and his name is Will. "

At the mention of his name he smiled, came over, and put his arm on my shoulder and said proudly "Yup!" while grinning like an idiot. Let's just say I spent the rest of the day with a certain sunshine.
