sparkly snow fell as he called my name.
his hand brushed mine as we shuffled our feet to school.

– what are you doing for valentine's day?

he asked without hesitation, without a tremor in his voice.
i stopped walking.

– what do you mean??

he started walking once more, small sighs leaving his mouth, forcing me to follow him.

– if we're both lonely on the worst day to be alone, would you like to hang out?

i wasn't certain what to answer.

– it's okay if you don't want to, i'll just celebrate on my own-
– sure. we'll hang out.

his lips stretched into a bright smile.

– it's settled then, taeil pronounced softly.

he grinned in a way to show how at peace he felt, how comfortable he was at that moment.
i could relate to that feeling.

it's odd.

i'm almost taller than him, he doesn't have many outstanding features, nobody knows him, yet he's still so... interesting.
maybe it's the way he laughs at silence, or the way he lets his eyes wander wherever they please.
maybe it's that music of his, the mysterious melodies i still try to decode.
maybe it's simply everything he is, and everything he'll become.

he's simply moon taeil.

not special in some way, just wonderful.

he isn't the adventure, he's waiting patiently for someone to bring him on one.

he doesn't really shine on his own, but he has so many different facets to himself that are interesting to discover.

i guess he is like the moon.
