Pale dawn light sliced through the trees, and Sasuke peered through the bare trees to the water. Even though this morning was peaceful, the insides of him was a twirling storm, crashing down and tearing him up inside. The guilt, he thought, would just be lingering the air, but this morning, he was taken aback by the guilt that crashed over him and engulfed him like a wave.
'the village is probably worried.' Sasuke realized. 'I didn't leave any note of some sort'
He pushed away his worries; he already had enough concern in him.
Sasuke glanced warily at a figure on the dew-stained grass. A man in chestnut hair, eyes closed peacefully. Juro. Besides Sakura, he was another of one of his concerns. This man had kidnapped Sakura and had turned into her with hopes to confused Sasuke. It hadn't succeeded, and Sasuke had demanded for Juro to take him to the Hidden Mist Village.
Juro aroused with a yawn, and Sasuke placed a hand on a kunai, waiting when he was going to abruptly turn his back on Sasuke.
"Morning" Juro said, drawn and sleepy as he stumbled forward and tossed his head on Sasuke's shoulder.
Sasuke cringed, but something about Juro reminded him of one of closest friends. Naruto Uzamaki.
Realization hit him that if Naruto would to figure out about this, he would have wanted to rescue Sakura too. He had to save Sakura for Naruto, for the Hidden Leaf Village.
Meanwhile, he had to take care of the half asleep Juro that was not yet awake on his shoulder, and he made a tiny spark of chidori on his hand and threw it on Juro's bare arm.
Sasuke saw a wave of shocking pain run through Juro's arm as he stumbled backwards, tripping over his own feet in the dirt. "Ow! What was that for?" He groaned, glaring at Sasuke.
"Let's get going." Sasuke responded, not answering his question. "We have a lot of ground to cover, and not much time to waste."
Juro blinked. "Fine." He muttered, struggling up and rushing forward to match Sasuke's steady, brisk pace. "Why are you so flustered?" He inquired.
Sasuke frowned. "Why shouldn't I be?" He challenged, not looking at Juro, only the vast dirt road ahead that seemed to stretch ahead forever.
"It's because of your lover, that pink girl, right?" Juro said, as if he was seemingly picking up the conversation from the night before.
Sasuke no longer wanted to think about Sakura until he got to the Hidden Mist Village. Instead, he responded. "Let's go through trees. It'll be faster, and we'll be more hidden." With that, he used Body flicker jutsu and tree climbing jutsu and was on the trees on the side of the road.
Juro joined him on the trees, and instructed him directions, and Sasuke was relieved that he didn't seem to be implying on the topic of Sakura anymore.
"Jump onto that cliff." Instructed Juro to Sasuke, who swiftly flipped onto the nearest cliff that he had indicated to. Juro landed neatly besides Sasuke. "And now jump off it." He added with an impish grin.
Sasuke ignored Juro and just merely asked. "Where to next?" He asked.
"This next." Juro said. He quickly flashed his hands into the summoning jutsu. "Summoning jutsu!" He yelled as he bit his thumb and swiped the blood across a scroll he whipped out. He flew his hand onto the stone ground before him, and letters flew onto the ground, and a puff of smoke cleared, along with a bunny standing there.
"Sir Juro, might I ask what you're doing here?" The rabbit inquired, it's voice velvety and dark. The bunny had a coat of black and gray, with narrowed black eyes. "With this man? He is part of the hidden leaf." He reported.
"I know that." Juro responded dismissively. "What he's doing here has nothing to do with you. Take me to the village."
The rabbit didn't move. "But sir, you know that other shinobi from other neighboring villages are not permitted in the premises of the Hidden Mist Village." He narrowed his eyes. "And where is you're mask?" He inquired.
"In my bag." Responded Juro carelessly. Remebering something, Juro turned to Sasuke. "This is Kuro. He's part of the Hidden Mist Village."
Sasuke didn't say anything.
"So, take us to the Hidden Mist Village." Said Juro.
Kuro sighed, his eyes exasperated. "Alright. If you insist." He responded, and he turned and hopped down towards a rock.
Kuro hopped forward, and hopped onto a rock, only to smash it into halves, only to see writing transcribed in it.
"Why is there writing?" Asked Sasuke.
"The signs we're supposed to say for the jutsu. Kuro is going to finish the jutsu off by pressing down." Juro described. "It's the only way." He said. "The problem is, if you get one sign wrong and try to produce mist.." He looked away. "You're going to die."
Sasuke nodded gravely. "Alright," He responded. He's been in the face of death too many times to count.
"We have to be in sync perfectly." Juro said, and tossed his a mask, and took his own mask and placed it on his face. "These masks are because the mist is poison. You inhale it, you die." He explained.
Sasuke looked at the mask. It was pure white, nothing on there except a simple mark: a black wavy line and two dots on either side of the line.
"Let's get started."
Sasuke nodded, and both of them began the hand gestures, both simultaneously syncing the signs, muttering the words under their breath.
When they got the last sign, both of their hands flashed.
"Focus the chakra to your feet!" Yelled Juro, and Sasuke effortlessly let the chakra slide down to his feet, and then Kuro jumped forward and slammed his paw into the ground.
A cascade of mist swirled around them, tearing up the dust and grass, until Sasuke's sight was blurred by the mist, the dew laying heavily on him, until he felt consciousness ebb away as white dots cascaded his vision.

Sasuke blinked, blurriness at the edge of his vision, and then whipped his gaze around his surroundings. What had happened? Where was he? Where was Juro.
"Were in the Hidden Mist Village." Sasuke turned at the voice of Juro, and saw him standing there, looking at him.
"What happened?" Demanded Sasuke.
"The mist makes anyone unconscious. And until it cleared, you were still passed out." Juro said.
Sasuke looked around after the explanation. This was the Hidden Mist Village. Only heavy mist was in sight, but peering through the mist, he could see there was several large, stone built houses, and he turned around. There was no entrance nor exit, and above them, there was only dirt.
"Where are they keeping Sakura?" Demanded Sasuke, not asking any unnecessary questions, and ignoring the hostile stares of the villagers.
Juro peered through the mist. "It's going to be in the UnderMist Oubliette" Juro responded. "It's not in plain sight; that place is specially made for wanted criminals, or heinous crimes that deserves torturing." Juro slid his gaze towards Sasuke. "In this case, however..." He sighed. "it's different for Sakura."
Sasuke tensed. "Just take me to there." He said flatly.
"alright." Juro nodded. "if your sure." He turned to Kuro. "Can you dig the hole?" He asked.
Kuro again passed Sasuke yet another look. "Your going to get killed." He sighed. "But alright." He jumped into the ground and a moment later, a large, yawning hole was in front of Sasuke.
"Well, jump in!" Juro began, but before he finished, Sasuke was sliding down the dirt hole.
"Well, alright then." Juro sniffed, and then jumped in as well.
