Sasuke panted at the village, leaning on his knees and then glanced rapidly at Hotaru. Her figure seemed wavered and she was gasping heavily and placing a hand on her heart.

"Geez, I haven't done that in a while." She muttered, placing a hand on her chest and catching her breath, and straightened herself up. "Are you ready? "She asked, brushing herself off.

"Yea, sure..." Sasuke looked around distractedly. "Where are we?" He demanded to Hotaru. He wasn't in the same spot where he remembered. They were yet in another hallway.

"Simple. I guided us to the hallway that has the medicine room. If you're friend isn't in there...she's probably dead." She shrugged.

Sasuke stiffened, irritated at how breezily she told Sasuke that, as if it was as daily routine, then remembered what Juro had told him, and looked away uneasily.

"Are you ready?" she inquired to Sasuke, and he blinked and nodded shortly, and she turned and then motioned for Sasuke to follow her, and they both walked down the hall, farther and farther, until Sasuke was nearly swallowed by darkness.

"Where are we?" Sasuke asked irritably.

"Be patient." Hotaru told him, not turning around. "This place is highly secured when locked." She stopped, and then formed herh ands in a fast paced jutsu, and then threw them onto the wall. Instantously, two torches appeared and a fire burned on them.

"What are you-" Began Sasuke, and then blinked in surprise when Hotaru turned to him and told him. "This time, we have to do the same thing we did with the explosive tags. She explained.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes and huffed, voicing his disapproval at having to do it, ad Hotaru showed exasperation in her voice as she retorted "Do you want to save your friend or not? Now quit complaining."

Sasuke heaved heavily and then picked his hands up to the torch and then felt the chakra tingle from his fingers and then let it run to his hand. Less chakra and power this time, but still difficult.

Sasuke felt the fire run through his hand and then slammed his hand against the end of the hallway and then half of the wall slid open. Hotaru did the same, and the other slid upwards, and then the two stepped forward into the room.

Sasuke glanced around the room. Unlike the hallways, light was pouring in from torches and glass windows. There was moss and blankets strewn around on the ground, injured and weak people lying on the ground, all gasping for breath. It was as if color was drained from each and every one of them.

"This is it." hotaru told Sasuke. "Do you see her?"

Sasuke didn't reply, because his eyes were narrowed, focused on one thing. There, in the mist, bent over a sickly woman, was so familiar to him it almost made his heart race. With the cherry blossom toned hair and wide green eyes, it was all too familiar.

Sakura.
