Chapter 8

After school me and luke went to his appartment and sat on the couch watching t.v. We didn't do much for the past 10 minutes, we basically sat quietly together, i dont know why, but i'd rather not know right now, i knew luke has been depressed and all for a while, so i didnt want him thinking too much.

"Elly?"

"Yes luke?"

"What are we doing right now?"

"Sitting on the couch." I chuckled making luke blush.

"I know that... but are we doing this all night?" He bit his lip.

"Not if you dont want to." I smiled.

"I don't want to."

"Well what DO you want to do?"

"To talk."

"About?" I smiled, leaning over to see lukes face.

"Us." He bit his lip, lookng at his hands.

"What about us?"

"This relationship."

"Luke, i think you worry too much on this relationship."

"I don't. i just worry what will happen between us if we continue to do this."

"What do you thinks gonna h-"

"Fights, more depression, my mum, ashton." He sat back up.

"Luke I dont thin-"

"Well i do."

We sat there quietly again. I was trying not to make luke upset, so i just didnt say anything for a bit. Until i had something to say.

"Luke."

"What?"

"Do you want to stop being together?"

"Of course not. It's just-"

"Then why do you always seem like you want to?" I stare into lukes blue eyes, i widened my eyes, trying to continue my point.

"Because I don't want you to tell me one day that you want to break up..." He looks back up at me biting the inside of his cheek.

"That is NEVER going to happen. I promise you luke, I'll love you forever." I smiled and begin to lean in to for a kiss, luke finally pulls me in and locks his lips on mine, he holds my face with his warm hands and continues to speak while kissing me.

"Promise?" He smiles.

"Promise." I say pulling luke into more, we were still on the couch, but we didnt care, we wanted to show our love, and this was where we were doing it tonight.

After luke and I kissed for a while we remembered we were ment to go out to a diner for dinner...

"Shit luke..."

"What?"

"We forgot about the diner thing." I said looking at luke.

"Oh. Sorry." Luke said looking at his knees.

"Luke, its not your fault." I say putting a hand on luke's back.

"Are you sure?"

"I dont mind if we dont go, honestly."

"Ok, lets not go then." Luke says facing me now.

"Well what are we going to do?"

"I have an idea." Luke grabs my arm and grabs his jacket.

"Get your coat, were leaving." Luke says putting his jacket on over his shoulders.
