Ever since we became friends near the end of spring me and Rihanna have been hanging out a lot. All kinds of crazy stuff happens when we're together, kind like this one time she kept staring at me while I was talking, she literally spaced out- or like this other time she was wearing a skirt for the first time and I kinda... maybe...probably...did stare at her. She winked and hugged me too... that really didn't help the situation!!!
We were studying math in the lunch room.... "please somebody kill me now!!!" I thought as Rihanna asked me another math question.
"Ok so what's the square root of 169?" She asked
"I can't believe I actually know this one..." I thought to myself "it's 13 right?" I asked.
she flipped the index card and revealed the answer "correcto!!!"she yelled. I laughed and so did she "ok so now u help me with my Spanish" she requested.
I smiled "ok, no tengo ningún problema con eso" I responded. she gave a puzzled expression and raised her eyebrow. "oh god... I can't take it" I sighed as I got up and sat on the lunch table as helped her out, "ok, I have no problem with that" I translated.
Her face turned bright red as she pouted shyly in her seat " ok... u said it too fast anyway" she complained.
I crossed my arms and smiled triumphantly "shut up and open your Spanish note book" I jokingly demanded.
"Don't be such a dad" Rihanna said as she giggled lightheartedly and slipped her note book out of her book bag. "que es una calle?" I asked her "ok, um... what is a calle? Doesn't calle mean street?" she responded
"correcto!!!" I laughed. Our study session ended and we went through the rest of school without a hitch.

While walking steadily down the hall some guy stopped us, think his name is Tanner or some shit like that anyway. "hey Rin I was wondering if u wanna go with me to the dance in a months" he asked.
LOL! I couldn't help but laugh, and before Rihanna could say anything I abruptly blurted out the words "she can't, she's already got plans on that day" I said
"ok then what about a date this Saturday?" Tanner asked
"Lol (sarcasm) she's busy this Saturday too!" I yelled angrily.
"dude your eyes are red" Tanner took a step back and laughed awkwardly.
"no duh pretty boy, go hook up with some other chick, Rin isn't interested" I scolded him then grabbed Rin's hand and dragged her along with me "filthy bastard! Rin doesn't like him.. she doesn't like any of these freaks. The damn dance isn't for a month anyway! like, why the fuck are you asking so damn early?!" I muttered as I came to a halt right outside the school door.
I turned on my heels to face Rihanna. She stood puzzled while also gripping onto my hand "what was all that about?" she asked
"I know u don't like him, so I spared u the time of having to say 'no'" I replied, she giggled and tightened her grip
"well thanks Zander ur the best" she said as she swung her other arm around my shoulders then let go of my hands and hugged me tightly. I got such a warm feeling, I didn't want it to end.... plus I think I would've killed anyone who made her let go of my body.
I wrapped my arms around her waist and just then- "hey Rin!!! come here a sec!" yelled amber, Rihanna let go and ran off to them
"ok so that puts Amber on the hit list😇" I gave a false smile and waved bye. Spike, who stood silently next to me, playfully tugged on my jeans "what's up boy?" I asked him, he barked and jumped into the air. I looked at his eager eyes, "must be hungry" I thought to myself as I pulled out a small biscuit and fed it to him.
Rihanna ran back while waving to Amber and Zayden. She smiled widely at spike then looked up at me "I decided to walk with u guys today" she said. my heartbeat quickened at her shining smile, "cool!!!" I responded happily and hugged her. I could feel her heartbeat against my chest, and as she was wrapping her arms around my back there was suddenly a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around abruptly "what do u want?" I asked. Natalia, the "hottest girl in school" stood in front of me with a proud, dignified look in her eye "wanna go to the dance with me?" she asked triumphantly as she put her hands on her hip.
"me?" I stood in shock and blinked a multiple amount of times.
"yea hot stuff" she replied.
This was weird, I knew I was hot, but I had no idea I was this popular. "But... I don't think I really want to go with her, I'd rather go with rin- we'd laugh a whole lot more" I thought to myself before answering curtly "Well I-"
"no!" I turn at the sudden voice. Rihanna had unexpectedly interrupted me mid-sentence.
Her face burned red, and she tried to hide her face while she spoke again "I mean... he can't because... b-because he... um... he's already going with me!" Rihanna yelled.
Her eyes shot open and she covered her mouth suddenly while darting her eyes to all directions.
"with u? nice joke, so you'll pick me up at 8:00?" Natalia asked me boastfully.
I stared back at Natalia "what do u mean 'nice joke'?" I asked as I narrowed my eyebrows.
"well I mean c'mon ur waaay outta her league" she explained
"I'll have u know..." I said as I grabbed Rihanna's hand and intertwined my fingers with hers "... that Rin is way prettier than u will ever will be!! go take a hike, make some other guy be ur precious date" I said to her as I walked away, still holding Rins hand, yet too embarrassed to look Rihanna in the eye.
