Chapter 1

*Beep beep beep* I turned off the alarm and laid in bed. Senior year is going to be the move! I got to make this year epic! I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I turned on the water to the shower and stripped out of my clothes. 

I got out the shower and wrapped a towel around me. I walked into my closet and looked through my clothes. I grabbed a crop top sweater that said dope and some leggings. I grabbed my grey retro 13s and put them on. I brushed my hair and threw it up in a bun. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I put on mascara, eye liner, and dark red lipstick. I walked downstairs and grabbed my car keys and grabbed a banana.

"Have a good day Sky!" My mom yelled.

"Love you!" I yelled and walked out the house. I called my cousin Kat to make sure she was awake.

"Hey bitch!" She said.

"Hey hoe! I just wanted to make sure you were awake," I said.

"Of course I'm awake B! It's the first day of senior year! What you got on today?" She asked.

"You already know a young light skin got on a crop top sweater and some leggings with my grey 13s. What about you?" I asked.

"You know me girl. A tank top, light colored jeans, jean jacket, and black and white addias," She said.

"Yess B!!" I said.

"I'll see you at school hoe," She said.

"Okay bitch," I said and hung up. I plugged my phone up to the aux and played Love The Rapper by Montana of 300. I pulled up to school and touched up my make up. I got out of my car and grabbed my bag and met Kat at the steps.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Duh," She said and flipped her hair playfully. We walked into school and walked to our lockers that were next to each other as always.

"I've heard there's a cute new boy here," Kat said.

"Oh joy! Get to watch all these girls be all over the poor kid," I said rolling my eyes. I felt someone grab me from behind.

"Hey you," I heard the voice say. I turn around and come face to face with my guy best friend.

"Tae!" I yelled hugging him. Before y'all jump to conclusions, no we aren't dating or fucking each other. He's literally my best friend. I haven't really told y'all about myself. I'm mixed with black and white. My name is Skylar but everyone calls me Sky. I live in L.A. and my cousin Kat is mixed with Hispanic and white.

"Hey," He said. Next thing I know the bell rings. 

"Let's get to first period," I said. We all had first period together. We have 8 classes a day. Shockingly we had every class together besides 7th period.

7th period came along and we had to separate from each other. I got to 7th period which is Economics and I sit in the back of course. The bell rang telling us we were late to class now. Everyone was sitting in their seats. Coach Michaels was calling role when someone came in the door. It was this really cute light skin boy. I'm assuming he was the new boy.

"You're late sir," Coach Michaels said.

"Sorry I got lost," He said.

"What's your name?" Coach asked.

"Santo," He said. 

"Alright Santo you can have a seat in the back next to Skylar. Skylar raise your hand so the young man can find you," Coach said. I raised my hand then put it down when the new boy saw me. He sat down and instantly turned his desk towards me.
