("Jade... Jade... it's time." The white saber's glossy eyes wouldn't look away from the teary blue eyes that held her gaze,
"But I...I don't want you t-to go, si-sssy!!" The young cream color cub argued the tears pouring out of her own as she sniffled between her words "I... Iwant you stay here with... with us!!"
"I'm sorry, but I can't change the past..." Then the white saber ran away into the light as young Jade cried out in pain.
"Shhh..................aaaa...>~!!--!" The saber's name was buzzed out by ringing and screams of pure agony as the scene disappeared into nothing and, present Jade stirred awake)
I don't remember when I woke up or if I just came to conscious out of nowhere from that nightmare. I wanted to forget what I had dreamt but I couldn't no matter how much I tried.
Instead, I focused on where I was. I figured we were walking down the safe mountain side pass based on how elevated my bottom and chest felt and Diego's strange movements when I heard the possums and Ellie... who were rolling down on logs.
I cracked one eye open and saw what was going on. The ride looked insane and something Sid would do if he had the chance and ability to persuade Manny, Diego and myself to do it with him.
I was glad I wasn't walking on my paws to almost get hit- thankfully for the green-eyed saber, I was still on his back though I don't think he was complaining at all.
"No brakes! Gotta roll!! Meet you on the other side!" Ellie's distant voice that got louder as she passed by, quickly rolling out of the sight and leaving the three males to stand in silence before Manny broke it.
"Sooo you think she's the girl for me?" He asked Sid with a nervous smile.
"Oh yeah. She's ton fun and you're no fun at all" Sid waved his claw with a smile which made Manny frown with shock, " She completes you" He completed a heart with a smile that made me shake my head.
The possums, who had gone way before Ellie and ended up crashing into a tree trunk, came out in a daze from being shaken up in their respected logs. They looked
"Hey, hey Manny!!" Crash called to the mammoth as he climbed up the tree trunk. "Can you pull back the trunk and shoot me into the tree?"
"No" Manny replied grumpily and shortly as he walked by. Sid, Diego and I decided to hang in the back,
"Oh come on!" Crash pouted.
"And how do you expect to impress Ellie with that attitude?" Sid asked, making the mammoth stop in his tracks.
"I don't want to impress her, Sid" He argued, making the said-sloth show a smug smirk,
"Then why are you trying so hard to convince her that she's a mammoth?"
"Because that is what she is! I don't care if she thinks she's a possum, you can't be two things!"
Sid instantly had a comeback, "Au contraire mah frr~riend. Tell that to the chicken-hawk, the bullfrog, and the turtle dove" He named off the creatures, counting on his claws as he smirked in triumphant.
I groaned and Diego agreed. "He's never gonna let it up!" He spoke to our leader, "It'll be easier on all of us if you just go- with- it-" The last three words were spoke with a pointed look to sent the message across.
I wish I could deny but Dieg was right- Sid had kept this up for the past seven hours ever since we met Ellie and I frankly knew we weren't going to last much longer until someone said something.
