Her hair was white and shiny when she first joined Iron-Head and Co, but now it is twisted and dark, flowing metal coils reaching down toward the floor. Her name was Rose and she doesn't ask any questions as long as you have the money.
A face made of stone with an expression to match, but like a volcano, a rocky and stoic surface gave way to a bubbling and aggressive disposition just underneath. They called him Alex and he did what he loved.
This story may be about Delirium and Arnold but neither of them were as fresh-faced and ready to kill as Rose and Alex, and what's more is that if the "B-team" didn't come to be, this tale would be a hell of a lot shorter
Delirium was sleeping in his office chair with his top hat aligned over his eyes. Arnold was very much awake and he had a new mission to fulfill, but as the clock ticked by he realized he was absolutely exhausted from all of the investigating he had done that day, he opened the door to where Alex and Rose were waiting for anything interesting to happen.
"Rose and Alex," said Arnold "I have a job for you two"
The two young assassins didn't say anything, but Arnold knew they were listening
"I need you to kill a man named Revel Victor, he's wanted by his spouse for cheating on her" explained Arnold.
"what do we get out of it?" asked Alex
"300 units" replied Arnold "plus any additional labor fees"
"sounds good to me," said Rose as she grabbed her suitcase "are you in Alex?"
"yeah I'll come," he said as he reached for his shotgun
"excellent," said Arnold "see you two in about an hour or so"
Rose and Alex left the building and stepped into the rusty truck that creaked and weathered away behind the shop, it drove off with a hiss and was soon out of sight.
