Driving off Jackson felt so guilty. He hated knowing a lot of what he'd told her was a lie, even the last name he gave her. Over course he hadn't planned having this infatuation with her but he wanted to know everything about her. She'd been so innocent and pure that it made Jackson tingle at the thought of her untouched body. Anastasia was kind, caring, funny, beautiful and a completely enchanting. Jackson knew this wasn't going to be easy. He was beginning to like the girl how could he betray her?
He knew he had to report. He dreaded it massively as he got closer to Enoch's place. The meetings were always held there and cars had already lined the street, motorcycles parked neatly on the lawn.
"Jacko." "Jack" various men nodded towards Jackson as he entered the open door of Enoch's house. Cameron, Robbie and Benji already standing in a corner chatting among themselves. Jackson took position next to Cameron as the rest of the men piled in.
"Shut the talking!" Enoch yelled from his seat on the long couch against the wall. "Jackson my lad. How'd you go tonight?"
"Oh we're just going to jump right into it okay." Jackson said causing laughter from the men. "Nah it went well I think."
"How long do you think until you get inside the house?" Enoch asked now becoming serious.
"Tomorrow I hope. I'm taking her to work and picking her up." Jackson felt uneasy telling them about his plans with Anastasia and he prayed they wouldn't say anything crude about her. He didn't think he could keep his thoughts off his face.
"She seemed a bit wet for you when you were going for your little walk." One of the men called again making the room erupt with manly chuckles. Jackson's hands turned into fists as he realised that he'd been followed. Whatever happened to trust?
"She is, it won't take long." Jackson muttered trying to avoid all contact with the twenty men in the small room.
"Good. This time we won't be dealing with the same shit as last time. Are we all in agreement?" Enoch stood and searched in the faces of each man looking for any sign of hesitation. All men nodded and spoke that they were in. "Jackson we'll chat next week but update me daily on the prepaid."
"Will do." Jackson nodded before listening to the rest of the meeting's agenda.
It was a good twenty minutes of Enoch talking and giving each men 'assignments'. He was a heavy set man with greying black hair cut in a military type fashion. Stubble constantly covered his chin giving him a rougher look. Finally the men were dismissed for the night and Jackson filed out with Cam, Robbie and Benji.
"So you think she's interested then?" Benji asked following close behind Jackson and Cameron to their cars. Jackson stopped at his car and looked at Benji.
"Yeah mate. Why?" You could hear the irritation in Jackson's voice and he placed his things in his car before turning for a response.
"Just wondering mate." Benji laughed looking uneasy. "Well I'll catch up with you later."
"Yeah bye man." Jackson winked and Cameron just waved leaning against Jackson's car. He watched Benji walk away before looking over at Jackson.
"You know what he said yesterday?" Cam laughed moving closer to Jackson to remain out of earshot from anyone. Jackson leaned in, a smile on his face. "He reckons when we're done and you get rid of her you know, he's going to slip on in." Cam laughed but the smile had been washed clean from Jackson's face.
"I get rid of her? Slip in." Jackson questioned now obviously angry. "I'm not getting rid of the girl and like hell anyone's 'slipping' anywhere near her!"
