•_•Chapter Three•_•

I did what he said. But I ended up leaving ten minutes early.

~Flash back~

It's been 35 minutes and he isn't awake yet. But he is a deep sleeper.

I Leaned in close and whispered,"I love you." I gave him a peck on the lips and went to the other side room for a while.

There I heard his father come in. He still looked displeased.

He slapped me. Then said in a low whisper,"Don't you even dare go near him again! If I hear him talk to you, talk about you or even think about you, you better be prepared to get hurt! Because I will make sure you wished you never laid eyes on him!"

"I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"We're working at the same school."

He slapped me again but ten times harder,"Then do a better job! I don't want you near my boy ever!"

"Nick..." said David.

I froze.

"I love you, so don't leave me alone."

I glanced at him. He was crying.

I walked by his bed and said,"I love you David. Forever. And I'll miss you." I gave him a kiss on the forehead. He smiled.

I stood up and said to his father, daring not looking into his eyes so I wasn't facing him. Then I told him,"I'll do it. I'll take my leave tomorrow. Don't make him leave till after new years. I need time to adjust. But don't worry no matter how much it hurts, I'll be sure to leave him and be out of his life starting today." My vision was blurry.

"Good, because you are a bad influence to him. You were a bad influence to him then and you still are. Get out of my sight before I change my mind."

I turned around tears down my cheeks. I wasn't sure how they came out but I knew I was trying to hold them back. I walked passed him. And I never looked back.
