Two: Rewrite the stars

Katherine's POV

I walked to school listening to The Greatest Showman soundtrack as it's my favourite movie as of right now and the songs are incredible. I walked in through the gates of school and I felt a pair of eyes on me but it didn't feel like they were gonna follow me so I shrugged it off and proceeded to my locker. Luke walked into the hallway from outside he then went to his locker behind me but I paid no more attention to him, I mean don't get me wrong I wanted to talk to him some more but I feared I would crumble and say some weird shit. To my surprise he looked at me, I felt that feeling of a pair of eyes on me. Why does he keep staring? I looked over my shoulder and he was staring at my bum. I think he's either being sexual or trying to see if I was really wearing a pull up. 

"Don't stare at my bum thanks." I said as I span around catching him, his face turned red and he tried to speak but the bell rang and I walked off. Okay so my crush is officially a creep or maybe a secret daddy...but it doesn't matter. We can't be friends or together.. he'd lose his place as a jock for being involved with someone like me..

Luke's POV

I can't believe she caught me...I was just trying to see if it was a pull up or if she just had a nice butt. Oh well. 

It got to lunch time and I was sat at the jocks table with my best friend Calum, I looked around the cafeteria to find the girl from next door but I couldn't see her. 

"I'm gonna go outside" I said and I grabbed my bag and my can of coke. I walked outside and I saw her sat under a tree, she looked so lonely but what made her more beautiful was the guitar she was playing beautifully. Wait did I call her beautiful? I mean she is but.. I thought of it in a loving tone.. like I'd fallen in love.. 

I made my way towards her and I sat down in front of her. "Hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude this morning.." I apologized.

"It's fine..why are you sitting with me?" She asked and she put her guitar down and she looked at me with her beautiful eyes.

"I thought you could use a bit of company, maybe make friends?" I said and she laughed. "What?" I asked feeling slightly offended.

"People like you and me can't be friends, you're a jock and i'm well.. nobody." She said and got up but she dropped some sheet music for a song called 'Rewrite the stars.' I looked at the lyrics and it described everything our situation is. I picked up her guitar and I started playing the chords.

Luke:

Luke:

"It's not impossible"

Katherine:

Katherine:

My hands are tied.." She sang before taking her guitar and walking back inside, If only she could see that it wouldn't be a crime..
