The Insider

Chapter 1

Josh was one of the most wanted men in the world.

For saving hundreds of lives maybe even thousands.

Josh Brown was the Insider. He went deep inside mafias and gangs and other organizations and then he got information and exposed them all now he was on the run, but right now he was relaxing he was at a dinner in a certain location, drinking coffee with his shoulders slumped and a serious expression on his face. Then the door opened and came in one of his closest friends and he had very few friends' Bobby Cole. Bobby sat down they shook hands and started to talk. Bobby said ''I came back to the apartment and I walked inside when someone stepped out the shadows and shot me and I was able to run when the house just freaking exploded right behind me. The person who escaped out the windows I saw h-'' He stopped talking and he shot up and grabbed Josh arm and he dragged him to the floor. Josh pushed his arm away and got up himself and he was about to say a heated statement when a man with a black hoodie walked in and sprung at Josh. Bobby tried to step in front but the man with the hoodie evaded him and grabbed his neck and pulled out a gun and aimed right at his face.

Josh was kneeling and he swung at the man head and the man the man blocked the hit, then he prepared to fire his gun when he dropped it. Josh tried a desperate attempt to grab the gun when the man pushed him aside. Bobby stood there and watched the action but he realized he should help he ran forward and tried to grab the man with the hoodie when he spun around punched Bobby in the face, which sent back Bobby. Bobby grabbed him and wrestled with him in the struggle the man hood came off. Josh jaw dropped as when he recognized the attacker a majority of the people in the cafe knew who he was one of the most feared thugs in the country.

A.k.a. Crossfire

Crossfire smiled the scar on his cheek from when he choked his own sister when he was extremely angry years ago stretched, the cold reminder of why it was it was there scared many people and reminded them that you shouldn't make him angry. He stood there with a gun in his hand a twisted smile on his face. Crossfire stood there and he started to talk ''You thought about me while I sat in that cold cell with a cup of sludge that bicth ass prison called food, with bloodstains on the floor, and ugly ass niggas trying to... touch me.'' Josh stood firm and said coldly ''Should've thought about that when you was running the second biggest known drug cartel in Mexico.'' Crossfire smiled he stepped forward and shot a bullet right in Josh's foot Josh winced, screamed and crouched down in pain. He was on the the ground when he the sound of footsteps warned him Crossfire was coming closer, then he felt a knee in his face; he flew down in pain and shouted swearwords then BANG! Josh instantly grabbed his knee he shot him in the knee blood rushing out through the wound. Josh was looking down at the floor when he heard what sounded like a struggle. He looked up Bobby was fighting for the gun with Crossfire and it looked like Bobby was gaining a advantage when Crossfire struck him in his face and pushed him down on the floor. Then he aimed the gun at Josh... right at his head Crossfire opened his mouth to say a slick remark when there was gunfire and the windows shattered. Josh crawled closer to the exit in a massive amount of pain, Bobby was walking towards him he helped him and supported him with his arm over his shoulders. Josh glanced back Crossfire was taking cover firing at the... police how they got here Josh didn't know and didn't care. They went through the exit and were off to the alleys. Josh could hear the gunfire and the screams of the people trapped in there behind him.

Josh was extremely hungry and tired and he was nagging Bobby about that the entire time. Bobby wanted to punch him in the face but he knew he shouldn't Josh was already in bad condition. Bobby was getting closer to the his apartment, closer to the only haven they had in this damn city. Bobby struck in his pocket and he searched for his key oh... shit he didn't have his key. He struck his hand in his pocket again... there it was! He fumbled it in his hand and sprinted upstairs he got to the door and barely unlocked it. He was inside! Josh groaned Bobby set him down and he heard a faint sound then he spun around.

There stood four men with pistols in their hands and mischievous smiles on their faces.
