Halloween: A new patient (Michael Myers x oc)

Running again

Laurie's arm was over my shoulder, even though she was taller then me she needed my support for her leg. She was really worn out and I felt bad but I wanted to get her safe.

"They'll be looking for you, we'll need to stop at every other room to not get caught" we trudged down the hall until we came to our first stop.

I was going to sit her onto the bed but she pulled away to sit into the floor. I sat next to her. We got the nurses distracted on trying to find the doctor by slowing down Laurie's heart rate. I was almost afraid she was going to get in an even more critical condition.

"How you holding up?" I ask her. Her head lay heavy on her knees.

I don't think she caught that.

"Laurie maybe you should stay off the leg." I leaned over to get her attention but she was passed out.

"Okay.." I sit next to her against the wall closest to the door and lean her onto me.

Michael searched around the clinic, he was more on the look out for Audrey then Laurie. Freddy's word fueled his rage. The thought of anyone else going for her. He entered a room instinctively. A nurse and a paramedic talked just at the entrance.
He listened in about everyone went missing. Their fear amused him, until the paramedic suggested the nurse leaves for help. Michael found it even more amusing if they found a way out.
They parted ways the nurse going for help and the paramedic attempting to search for Laurie. Getting back into his stealth like mode he walked around. His main focus was Audrey now.

I woke up with an ache in my neck. It was strained from leaning on Laurie's head. I didn't even realize I dosed off.

"Laurie? Hey." I shook my shoulder a few times to wake her up.

"Hmm?" Her voice was a little hoarse.

"We need to go." I whisper back to her getting up from under her.

She didn't respond I could tell she needed way more rest. But she got up with support of the wall.

"Straight out to my car. Then we're off." I tell her as we make our way out.

She leaned on me again for support not uttering a single word. Helping her walk and barely a few feet away from the door out in the hall. We already got caught.

"Laurie! Hey who are you?!" A nurse with short blonde hair called out to us.

Laurie turned and I didn't bother to respond. The nurse took a few steps closer.

"She can't be out like that!" She called out again. I was worried there will be more to catch us.

Laurie's arm turned me with her ignoring the nurse and walked with me. I gave her look as if to ask. Are you sure?

"Wait please!" The nurse once again called.

I turned ready to respond.

"Loo-!" My sentence ceased as a shape appeared behind her!

~Michael's POV

The nurse was annoying enough but lead him straight back to her. She couldn't have decided to move at a more bad time. He took one swing into her back lifting her up like that. Her body shuddered in his hold.
He searched his attention ahead. Audrey aligned so perfectly in his line of vision. Her face was distraught but at the same time he could feel her love.
He heard the thud of the nurse's shoes following along with her body. That moment could've lasted forever, he wanted to get to her. Until Laurie gave a tug on her arm.
Taking her away!

~Audrey's POV

Laurie pulled me until I ran with her. We were back at it again. I was concerned for Laurie putting too much stress onto her leg.

"Laurie be careful!" I say loudly.

She grabbed a hold of a bed and struggled to pull it. I helped her and we rolled it in the way. We ran through the halls and down the stairs. Laurie was about to exit at main level but I stopped her.

"No he'd expect that. To the basement!" I move her to the rest of the stairway.

I push the door open making it seem like we exited at main level. I followed her trying to keep my steps hollow. She plowed into the door and looked back making sure I was still there.
I gave her a nod but she watched behind me. Waiting to see if he caught up, I turned to look to until I heard Laurie scream behind me. I swirled around and seen a dead security guard hanging from the ceiling! I gasped putting my hand over my mouth.

"L-let's-." Cut off again the door opens and Michael was walking right towards us.

"Michael.." I say barely above a whisper. I had to act quick!

I looked to my left and seen a window. I climbed up kicking it open and swooped myself to the other side and reached out.

"Laurie come on!" I call out.

She climbed up and grabbed around my wrists. I pulled her over and then reached around her waist to pull the rest of her over. I heard Michael's arm whip back and forth on the other side.

"Stop! Don't!" I yell at him.

Laurie gave a last pull over the window and I lost balance on the boxes! We fell over to the hard ground. With shards of glass from hospital equipment everywhere! I felt my face and there was a small cut on my right cheek. Forgetting it instantly I help Laurie up and over the glass and she limps with me around the corner.
She found the elevator and headed straight for it! I stood where I was and waited, when I turned to check Michael was already up and over the window.

"Audrey come on!" Laurie yells as the elevator door opens.

"Go Laurie!" I say hesitantly.

"No! Come on!" She yells at me full of fear. The elevator door stayed open, so I ran over and gently shoved her into the elevator.

"Go Laurie, I'll hold him off. Get out of here!" I felt afraid not caring my back was to Michael.

"Please..Audrey." Laurie looked very sad as the door shut.

When I turned right around Michael was right there! I took a stance waiting for him to strike! His hand that held the hospital knife tried to fit in the door but it shut on him. He was by my side and I took a step to the side away. Wanted to make a dash for the stairs. Before I could Michael's hand grabbed a hold of my jacket sleeve.

"Oww!" I was yanked to be between him and the closed elevator door. I felt a little embarrassed and didn't even look up at him.

"I knew you would do this.." I whisper to him letting hair fall to my face.

With only engines and such making all the noise around us, I didn't say anything more. I felt him move the hair out of my face. Then his finger rubbed against my cut. As if to be "oh my are you okay?" I moved my head off to the side, I didn't want to be caught in his touch.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask finally looking up at him.

"You want to kill her but not me?" I ask to his face.

He lowers his hand with the surgery knife and the other caresses my cheek. I started feeling fuzzy.

Oh fuck I'm going to lose it.

Boom! Got it done! Almost through this one my readers.
