Chapter 3:

With everything packed up, Zeke and I got into prep boys car, which happened to be a shiny red mustang. We were both sitting in the back. Me in the middle and him on the right side by the door. It was around nine at night and I was starving. We hadn't had lunch or dinner and I never ate a big breakfast, so I was dying of starvation.

"Hey." I said to Prep boy. "I'm hungry." He glanced back to us and rolled his eyes.

"Well, I can't make you a grilled cheese right now, sweetness." He said sarcastically. I glared at him and my stomach growled.

"Fine," I said, "Don't make me a grilled cheese. Just get me something to eat." I demanded.

"I could get you some grass, but you'll have to pick it up. I wouldn't want you to eat any of my germs." He said, speeding down the interstate.

Zeke finally spoke up. "Pull into a Burger King or something. She needs to eat." He said.

Prep Boy rolled his eyes and said. "We're almost to the airport. You can get something there." That was the last thing said before we arrived at the airport.

We went through all of the check points and finally got to our area. On the way, Zeke and I had picked up a small cheese pizza to eat on the plane. Prep boy kept on giving us funny looks as we dragged our things to the gate.

"What?" I asked. He looked away and I could see his face tint red.

********* Finally in the plane*************

Zeke and I sat next to one another and prep boy sat next to me. Z and I enjoyed our pizza and I heard prep boys stomach growl. He continuously looked at our pizza. "Who's hungry now?" I laughed. He looked at his feet and didn't say a word. I handed him a piece of my pizza and he took it willingly.

"Thanks." He muttered, taking a big bite out of the pizza. "So what did you guys do to get to the reform school?" He asked. I glanced over at Zeke who shrugged.

"We set the town a blaze- and it's a boarding school, not a reform school dummy." I said. He rolled his eyes.

"My uncle didn't want to scare you. It's for everyone bad. Your typical reform school. Most people just send there kids there so they don't have to go through the paper work of putting them up for adoption.' nodded my head nad looked over at prep boy.

"What'd you do to get here, prep boy?" I asked. He rolled his eyes nad looked away.

"I didn't do nothing. I'm just his nephew, but you can't ell anybody, because I'm supposed to ell them all I murdered my brother." I looked at Z and he laughed.

"Of course." I said.

"Shut up." Prep boy said defensively.

"Excuse me?" I said. I was appalled by his tone. Did he just tell ME to shut up.

"Shut up. I didn't stutter." He said.

"Oh you're going to be stuttering soon you egotistical, stupid, hollister loving-" He shut me up by pressing his lips to mine. I pulled away quickly and punched him straight in the jaw. His bottom lip began to bleed and he grabbed some napkins from a plane attendants tray. He wiped at his mouth and glared at me.

"EWW." I said. By that point, my loving and protective brother had stood up and took a position in front of Prep boy.

"Did my sister ASK you to do that?" Zeke asked. Prep boy shook his head no and put his hands up to guard his face. "Don't worry. I won't hit you." Prep boy put his hands down and continued wiping at his sore lip. "I said I wouldn't hit you." He said, then kicked him in the shin. "Didn't say anything about kicking. You back off my sister, or I will throw you out this plane so hard, when you reach earth you'll fly straight through to China!" He pushed Prep boys head to the side and took his seat next to me.

The rest of the ride was smooth for the most part and I eventually fell asleep with my head on Zeke's shoulder.
