They both shook their heads, this was going perfectly " I saw my mom cry, she was crying over the picture of the bastard that left us behind! Do you know how painful it is to know that someone that you care about is in pain!? And that you can't do anything to help them!?" I was making it believable, even using slights of my voice. "So I decided, I wouldn't cause her any more pain myself... that I would help her, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do!" I finished it, even doing so much as shedding fake tears.

"Do I make myself clear?..." they both looked down in shame, nodding. I had won.

I had just noticed that there was actually a large group of people gathering around, listening to the commotion.
