Days. Days went by. 3 I think. But i'd lost count. I didn't know what to do without him. Yeah I know I was without him for tour but this is different. I knew I still had him then. I don't anymore.

It's all my fault to. If I just let him expla- his jacket. My eyes had landed on his jacket. He left it here.

The proper response would be to break down, but my body decided to stand up, and walked to it. I went to pick it up. I wanted to look at it, but wanted to put it away.

My thoughts were cut off by a thump sound of something falling to the floor. I put the jacket down slowly. Then bent down to pick up the object.

A box.

A small black box covered in velvet.

I looked at it cautiously, curiously. I opened it slowly. I gasped and lifted a small object out of the box.

I didn't know how exactly to react.

It was a ring.

I big shiny gorgeous- what looked like- an engagement ring. One thing caught my eye. Writing. In the bottom of the ring. I squinted to look at it. It said... my name. Written in the exact same font of Niall's name on my back.

I put the ring back in and looked for my phone. It still said three words. So I decided to say four.

I love you too.

I sent it slowly, and sat on the couch after putting the box back in his jacket.

I paced around the room for about 10 minutes before my door opened. I ran to the blonde haired boy who stood there. He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around him. "What happened?" He asked, confused.

"I found the ring." I whispered into his shoulder.

"Damn that was gonna be a surprise." he huffed.

"I should've let you explain." I replied.

"God Taylor, you had to be stubborn." He chuckled deeply.

"I know." I let out a suppressed laugh. I let go of his neck and looked at him, but his hands stayed locked on my waist.

"Management. They wanted a public girlfriend. More drama.." He shook his head. "I told them no but they didn't listen. "Why would you think that was real?" he took my hands now, pulling me closer.

"Interviews, stories, pictures..." I suggested, pursing my lips and avoiding his eyes.

"Why would I go for a perfect girl? Perfect is boring." he smirked slightly.

"All fake?" I asked.

"Mhm." he smiled as I stepped closer. "never leave." he begged, in a low whisper.

"I wont." I shook my head.

"Promise?"

I got closer. "swear." I whispered before he close the space between us, and his lips pressed to mine.

"Now," he said, letting go. "can I do this properly?" he walked to his jacket and reached into the pocket. "I know, it's no big fancy place, or my concert where I wanted to do it in the first place, but we're both here. That's enough." he smiled.

I knew it would be hard for him to get down on a knee due to knee surgery he recently underwent. But he started to kneel. "n-Niall you don't-"

"I'm fine." he sighed and rested on his knee. "Damn I can't remember half the speech I had." he laughed nervously. "Okay, Taylor... I love you so much. and after being with you for two years, I know I never want to be without you again. Why didn't you understand how much I wanted to be with you the moment I met you?" I blushed "okay that much was Zayn's fault." he chuckled softly. "but every little flaw you have makes me love you even more. I can't imagine not being with you, ever. So... Taylor Nicole Nelson, will you marry me?"
