A few days after

Elena's house

"He can't cross the boundry until he figures out the magic. And by my calculation, it will not be until Imbolc." Sophie said.

"Silas will be pissed." Elena remarked.

"It buys us time to find that Huntress Rayna," Caroline said, "until then- how about we all go to one of those Whitmore parties. We haven't had fun in like forever. And I really need to party. We all deserve a party, after everything we've been through."

"I am in." Bonnie said.

"I will find out and let you know." Caroline said and now waving a little at their friends left the house.

"I'm heading off to talk to my coven. Later." Sophie took her phone out and exited the house as well.

Now that Elena and Bonnie stayed on their own, the ex-witch now asked Elena about Elijah and what went off in front of the Grill, the other night.

"Nothing. We - almost kissed - and that's it."

"Almost kissed? Oh!" Bonnie looked at her friend wide-eyed.

"It's complicated. He doesn't remember us." Elena huffed.

"When was it not complicated? Well, you'll have to make him remember." Bonnie said.

Elena raised up her eyebrow and kind of was very much ok with this suggestion.

"Carpe diem." Bonnie chuckled.

"Carpe what?" Elena looked at her friend puzzled.

"Seize the day. Don't wait. Another Hayley could appear and snatch him."

"What happened to her?" Elenachimed curiously.

"Damon said something about Katherine probably killed her. Something about a deal that went wrong. I don't know. But if she did, I can't say I will miss her." Bonnie replied. "She was a nuisance. Anyway, where is my hawthorn mixture? I feel like a terrible craving coming on again."

"It's a theme party" Elena said as she looked at the message from Caroline. "I've got nothing to wear."

"Then we need to raid my Grams' wardrobe. What decade?" Bonnie asked.

"1970s" Elena replied.

"Ok. Let's find something. She wasn't a punk rocker - it's Saturday Night Fever stuff."

"As long as a dress fits, I don't care."

The Grill, somewhat later

"Where is everyone?" Rebekah asked as she sat down at the bar next to Stefan who sipped down his 11th Bourbon.

"Whitmore." Stefan replied.

"What are they doing there?"

"Some kind of Disco party." Stefan said.

"Disco?"

Stefan looked at Rebekah like she descended from the Moon, and then in a nano-second later realized that she was confinded in her coffin in the 1970s. He sighed inwardly and explained to her what kind of a party it was.

"Everyone has gone to have some fun and you are here, I guess drowning your sorrows because Elena has fallen for my brother and not you!"

"You guessed right!" Stefan said.

"I thought you were over her?"

"Well, I am not." the vampire replied taking another shot of the Bourbon.
