A little lonely girl,
As pretty as can be.
She is a blue eyed,
Orphan girl

Adoption Day comes,
Everyone else is leaving but her.
A man and a woman appear
And they notice her.

As they approach her,
She turns away.
As she turns away,
She feels arms wrapping around her.

As the tears start to fall down her face,
She whispers:
"I am not here,
Nor am I there.
I try to make a sound,
But not even a cry will sound.
I am surrounded,
Yet I feel lonely.

You see me,
Yet you don't.
I am everywhere,
But yet no where.
When you look at me,
All you see is a smile.
But yet, you can't see
Years of tears shedded and years not.

But when I look at you,
I see hope.
While I may not be you,
I am me.
All I need
Is the hope and happiness you bring."

After a while,
She sits in their car with all she owns.
As she looks around,
She smiles her very first genuine smile.

Little did they know,
They have chosen an angel.
As they get in the car,
They looked at her as if they knew.

The little girl brought them immense happiness.
She brought hope that she couldn't have when she was alive.
She wishes nothing more than others to be happy
And not make the same mistake she did.

At the age of eight,
She gave in to the weight.
The weight of the world hurt her,
It hurt her as bad as losing something dear.
