My Innocent Neko: Many years after

Chapter 2

     Normally I would be against walking to places but I haven't been out the house in a while I wanted to feel the sun on me one again and be around other people. I do love being around the girls and Alec but I just sometimes want to be out and about. I felt John's arm go around my shoulder and tensed for a moment until he pulled me close to his side and once my body met with his I actually relaxed, and it seems so did he.

"I know me and you are still trying to get used to being with one another, But hopefully this party will not be fun with me here instead of Kyle" John said rubbing my shoulder with his thumb gently. I was surprised by this and looked up at him and I guess really really looked at him for once. He was trying. He was trying to make something happen with all three of us, a life of Kyle, him and me. So it was just me this whole time being a jerk and really just dealing with him and not being with him and now that I find this out I felt more of a jerk than ever now.

"You know what, I think this will be a fun party who ever I'm with" I said and looked away from him to follow his gaze to Alec walking ahead of us his arms out like an airplane and swerving on the sidewalk laughing.

"I think I will have to agree with you" I looked at John again and gasped softly when I met with his eyes instead of the side of his face. "I'm not trying to break all of us apart, I want to be with you as much as I want tot be with Kyle I mean it." I've noticed that we stopped walking just out of the park where Alec ran in and went to plat with his friends.

"I know your not" I whispered facing him and watched his slight worried face turn into a smile as his arm wrapped around my waist pulling me close to him and lean in kissing me gently. I didn't notice him take of the beanie that covered my ears until his pulled away and took a step away and I felt the wind on my ears. "h-hey" I gasped covering my ears with my hand and tried to reach for my hat but John moved it about his head out of reach making me move close to him and jump trying to grab it from him. That lead to my awkwardly rubbing against him that I stepped away blushing.

"F-fine keep it, I'm not scared to show my ears!" I turned towards the park and walked away taking deep breaths. I can do this, ill show him. I heard him chuckle as he followed behind me and huffed walking to where Alec was running around with the kids.

"Alec, Did you go say hi to Sarah yet?" Alec stopped chasing a small little boy and looked over at to me a slight blush growing on his cheeks.

"I-I was going to wait for you and daddy" He walked over to me as I kneeled down and looked at my ears touching them.  "Her dad is over with the other parents" Alec looked at me then at John.

"I thought people could see kitties ears" Alec continued to play around with me ears, he really likes how soft they are.

"Well I thought, why hide? He should be embarrassed about who he is." John shrugged and patted me on me head, "Lets go say hello to Sarahs father yeah?" I nodded at John then looked at Alec.

"You be careful okay?" I stood up as Alec nodded his head then ran away to the kids again and looked at John who took my hand smiling as me and him walked to the parents. I squeezed his hand many thoughts going through my head, What will they think of me? Will they think its weird that John is dating this thing with cat ears? will he say we are dating, what do I say?

"Kuroi" Johns voice broke through my thoughts as I looked up into dark brown eyes that ran down my body slowly and back up to my ears. He had black short cut hair with bangs that's rested almost past his left eyebrow, a strong jaw and strong looking body he looks like if you ran into him it would be like running into a wooden wall. Not minding the heat he was wearing a black leather jacket with a black shirt underneath and blue jeans that followed with black boots. But what really caught my attention was his eyes, staring at my intently and creepily it made chills go up my spine, and not the good kind I mean it.He extended his hand out to me and I tensed scared he was going to grab me, terrified of it actually my ears were flat against my head.
