Chapter 10

As I laid curled in a ball hiding who knows where. I heard the noises of people calling for me many many times but I didn't move..I couldn't..I might as well just become the cat im supposed to be..

'Kuroi..' I look up as I hear a voice and see another cat who looked sad. How did another cat..Oh..Kameko.. I looked away and curled up back into a ball closing my eyes
'Go away Kameko..'
'No Kuroi you need to become human again!'
'Go away!' I shouted through my mind at him and stood up running away scurrying down the stairs as I hear my name and look up to see Kyle with a worried look on his but I just ran past him and jumped to the kitchen counter and lift up my paws onto the window and push it open freezing as I heard my name and turned seeing Kyle looking at me with sadness which almost made me stay but then Kameko jumped up onto the counter and thats when I decided to turn and look out the window then gulp jumping out and landed into some bushes that truthfully I didn't know was there so, Lucky? I dont know I dont care. I ran right out the bushes and found that there was a..forest? Wait what? What about the neighbors?
'Come, Its safe..'
What..?
'Quick'
Uh..okay..?
I ran towards the forest that was never there in the first place but I needed to get away.

As I ran I totally expected Kamkeo to follow so I glanced back but only saw forest. W-what..w-what happened!? I slowed my run down to a stop and turned the way I came and suddenly I was just scared and I knew I was because I was shaking and unable to move. C-can I go back? Is it even p-possible? A-am I g-gonna be lost forest in the forest a-and lose my human self and be a cat for overwhatamigoingtodoimjustsrucklikethisohnokylethekidswhatamigoingtodoineedtogetbacktothemno-

E-eek!

"Kitty!" A small girls voice said and I for some reason relaxed and slowly turned to look up and see a girl with deep green eyes that almost match the forest and white hair that stopped at her shoulders cleanly cut along with straight bangs that also had a clean cut and stopped just above her eyes. There was vines in her hair looking almost like a tiara of sorts and I was very curious how she got that to happen since they had thorns on them. She was wearing a black dress that went to the ground and was tattered at the ends where you could almost see her bare feet.
"Hi Kitty, did she bring you here to?"
'Bring me here..? Who?'
She smiled "The forest lady!"
'She heard me!?'
"Of course I did! I'm one of the forest I help the forest lady! She sends people here to help them feel better or get over the guilt or what ever you have going on. Think of it as alone time" she smiled and gently held a hand out and I just felt safe and protected here. I slowly stepped closer and instantly nuzzled into her hand and looked up at her seeing her eyes turn red and I was instantly concerned but they turned back to the normal green they originally was. She looked sad.
"You get to come with me and I can make every thing better" she stood up and clapped "follow me" She said then turned and started walking in almost a marching way but very sloppy very childish actually. I had no where to go so I might as well. I followed.

-Kyle-

"Cats don't just go through walls Kameko" I said clenching my fist keeping my calm as best as I can.

"Im very aware of that Kyle! But I know what the hell I saw! He ran out the bushes then right through the neighbors wall!" This shouting back and fourth wont do anything for Kuroi..we have to find him and get him back and help him become human!

John came back and from the look on his face Kuroi wasent there. Damnit..
"What are we gonna do? He needs to be here!" I shouted frantic
"Im aware Kyle!" Kameko shouted back.
"Guys this isnt how we can do this right now!" John decided to cut in. I just threw my hands up and huffed in anger starting to pace and think hard about what the hell to do and how to find Kuroi.
"I can go look around" Kameko sighed.
"Ill come with you" John said, "Just incase you need to be a cat, can't have two cats to worry about" Kameko nodded and walked up to John and nodded a bit continuing to walk.
"Try to feel your damn hands off eachother" I growled as john started to walk and he froze a bit and glanced back at me sadly then went on. Gosh this is just to much..

-Kuroi-
A bowl was set infront of me and in it was milk I almost didnt but I was thirsty and really this girl is nice so I drank from the bowl while she sat and sipped her tea.

"So Kuroi, My name is Ash and as I said I help the lady of the forest! Shes like a mother to me but I get this place to myself! I may be twelve but I guess I am slightly mature? Not sure" she smiled and took another sip of her tea. Then set it down and walked off somewhere only to come back holding figurines of cats.

"So this is you and your brother" She sat the figurines down one cat had scratces on his cheek and the other with blood on his paw and I stopped drinking the milk my ears going flat on my head.

"You were upset, you didnt remember and you were mad from what happened to your memory, and really it seems he forgives you, no one is mad Kuroi."  She looked at me with those deep green eyes. "What you did may of been bad..but Kuroi..they are worried about you..and right now. They are looking for you and want you back plus your kids kuroi! Your children! What about them?" She stood up and sat next to me "It may be sad what you did you probably broke promises...but they are there for you and they forgive you" I looked up at her and she tilting her head smiling gently and suddenly I was actually looking slightly down at her and I looked down and saw. I have become human and I was crying because...its all true! I done song horrible but I have people that need me and want me...

I stood up with new purpose.

"Well seems my work here is done!" She stood as well and hugged my waist her head resting at my ribs. "Be careful out there Kuroi and here" she reached into her pocked of her dress and pulled out a necklace with a circle bell on it. "This is for you, It shifts as you do! If you ever need this again call for me and I can tell the forest lady to help you!" She stepped back from me and smiled waving as everything fogged over and became clear to me in the park and I looked around confused.
"Uh..?"
"Kuroi?" I whipped my head around and Kameko ran over to me and tackled me hugging me tightly as I squealed falling over hugging him back as tightly.
"Kameko!" I smiled and hugged him tighter and tighter. "Take me home Kameko, I have a family to get back to."

Alrighty peoples this is actually kinda probably the end ya know? I will make an epilogue, thats what its called right? The small chapter of what happened after yeah. But I dont know I will make another book in this series sorry its uploaded so late but again
