~Chapter 9~

A/N: I apologize for not updating this story for a while due to being busy. Plus, I had writer's block for a while. There were some drafts that I wrote but discarded because I didn't like how I wrote them.

In this chapter, it will reveal the answer to the question everyone was wondering about.

Yuna yanked her arm away from Tusurgi in anger and back away from him. "I'm going out there and nothing will get in the way or stop me," She retorted and headed over to the stairs where the exit was.

"Even if it Mari and Stinger?" Tsurugi asked and Yuna stopped walking.

"What do you mean by that," Yuna was a bit confused by the question. "What do you know?" She demanded to know, not turning around to look at him.

"Both Mari and Stinger had told me to keep you out of harm way. Plus, You have just recovered from the previous battle, and going out there would be dangerous for you," He told her.

"I know they want to keep me safe," Yuna stared ahead at the door. "But I can't stand here and watch them get hurt. I have a bad feeling that something bad will happen if I don't get out there and stop Akina's evil scheme," She turned around and looked at Tsurugi "Besides, I'm not going out there alone".

"What?" Tsurugi was confused and before he ask what she meant by the last sentence, Yuna ran upstairs and left out the door. "Wait!" He went after her.

Sho Ronpo turned and looked at Champ, and Balance. "You two go and help them," He ordered.

Champ, and Balance nodded and then left out the door.

Akina smirked as she watched Hammy attack Stinger, who was blocking the attack while trying to snap Hammy out of it. She was still playing her harp when she got blasted in the chest by a strong energy beam.

The harp fell out of her hand and down to the ground causing Hammy to stop her attack on Stinger and snap out of it. Akina landed on the ground on her back but quickly got up on her feet.

Hammy blinked her eyes confused before she stared down at Stinger, who was lying on his back, staring up at her with his hands gripping her weapon. She noticed that she was pointing her weapon at Stinger's neck and immediately lowered it away before stepping away from him.

"What's going on?" She dropped her weapon and untransformed.

Akina growled and looked over to see Mari, who has her arm stretched forward aiming at her.  "Hmm," A smirk appears on her face. "Look like I get to fight a worthy adversary".

She summoned her sword that appeared in her hand and then charged at Mari, who had already drawn her two-bladed staff out.

Mari blocked the sword from hitting her face and kicked Akina away from her.

Akina slightly stumbled back and touched her chest. "Is that all you got?"

"I'm just getting started!" Mari chanted a spell and electric energy appears from her hand and went into her two-bladed staff started to glow.

She then swings her staff at Akina, releasing the electric energy beam at her.

Akina tried to dodge, but it got her right in the shoulder. She flew backward and hit her back against the barrels.
