The Day My Life Changed

Selena POV

I woke up to the sound of my brother and dad fighting about something. Looking at the clock I seen it was 9:30 an appropriate time to wake up. ON A SCHOOL DAY

Walking downstairs I seen Seth and dad face to face arguing. Neither of them noticed I was their until I cleared my throat.

"Uh hey Lenaaaaa"
"Seriously guys it's like 9 in the morning,and it's a weekend for God's sake"
"You don't understand Sweetheart
"Ill I understand is that I woke up to the sound of the two males in my family I can actually stand arguing"

After to had finished my sentence my mum walked down with sad eyes.
"Mama what's going on" panic had instantly set. I knew that what was about to be reveled to me I wasn't gonna like it.

"Sweetheart tour gonna want to sit down,you to Seth" grabbing my twins hand the two of us sat down.
"So this isn't going to be easy no matter how I say it. So please stay calm"
"Papa your scaring me" my brother squeezed my hand trying to reassure me but I knew he was scared too.

"I know babies i know,but I promise that what ever we've done is to keep you safe" I started shaking scared of what would come out of my father mouth as he began to speak. Looking st both me and Seth he began.
"Seth,Serena. I never wanted to have to tell you this way but your adopted"

I guess we always knew but actually hearing it made me feel like my entire world had stopped. It's like the world became still silent,the only thing I could hear was my heartbeat and the tears cascading down my cheeks.

Seth was never one to break he was always so strong. But it that moment it all vanished. His mask disappeared and the pain sadness and fear became very evident in his eyes.
"We always wanted to tell you but it never seemed like the right time. We love you more then words can describe. We may not be your real parents hut your our everything." My sadness is suddenly covered by my curiosity,and I ask the question that I knew was not only on my mind but Seth's as well.
"If it was never the right time,why now?" The destrought came back into my mother's or well Joannas eyes as she spoke the next few words.
"Because....because your real brother is dead" frozen I paled and felt sick.

Seth was rubbing my back as he asked the next question.
"Why are you telling us this....we never knew him anyway?"
"Because,because Seth...you and Selena are requested back home. Your real home" anger suddenly fueled me as I stood up and began to yell,Seth not to far behind.
"ARE YOU TELLING US THAT THE ONLY REASON YOUR TELLING US THIS IS SO YOU CAN SHIP US AWAY LIKE YOU DID WHEN SETH WAS 10?!"

Seth's glare turned ice cold as he looked at the people in front of us. "Fine. Well go. It's probably better being with them then here with a bunch of liars anyway. Where exactly are we going anyway?" Tears ran down Joannas face as my twin looked at her and Marcus with utter ice cold hatred.

Not having the heart to look st the two in fear of breaking down I grabbed Seth's hand and raised my voice into a yell.
"Answer.the.damn.question" startled the looked at me while Seth just held my hand.
Whispering they spoke softly. Unable to hear Seth told them to speak louder,and so they did.

" Your family lives in Rockland country.....your going to Riverdale."
"Only if you want too" Joanna and Marcus had hope that we'd stay. But with a glare we both went on our way. Our last words spoken were quiet almost in audible.
"truth is we already knew we were adopted,we were eventually gonna leave anyway. So goodbye I guess Seth and me looked at each other and continued up the stairs.
