Chapter 4

Harmony^

The bedroom door opened, revealing a tall figure.

"Harmony?" A voice spoke up.

However I didn't notice the voice. I was scared for dear life. Now it looks like I'm a stalker. Or worst, a burglar.

"Hi..." I muttered.

The light flickered on revealing August standing by the doorway with one of his friends.

Possibly the one Diamond was blushing at. However I payed him no mind.

"What are you doing here?" He questioned while walking over helping me out.

"I was-" I was cutted off by his friend speaking up.

"Ah, she likes you." He laughed.

Blushing slightly while giving his friend an angry look, Before turning helping Diamond Inside.

"I don't like him." I mumbled.

"Sure.." He smirked.

I was sure I was gonna get arrested that night. But I didn't care, atleast August doesn't hate me.

"What are you doing here?" His friend questioned while looking at diamond as i helped her in.

"Shes with me dummy." I groaned.

"Oh.." he muttered.

I glanced over to August. Noticing he was silent. As if he was in shock. However no one payed it any attention.

"Harmony, Why are you here?" August spoke up.

I gazed into his eyes, noticing they was dimmer. Like he was sad, or depressed.

"I was just checking-" I was cutted off by Diamond speaking.

"She was just looking to see if Alec was here with you." She frowned.

Dammit diamond.. I thought before nodding slightly. I knew he was gonna question me. It was much like him. But at the moment I lost hope in myself and on confessing to him.

"Why would he be here?" He questioned while glancing over to Diamond then at me.

His friend chuckled slightly before sitting down on his bed. He hung out with August a lot around the school. So I was sure they were bestfriends.

"Um, I just guessed." I muttered.

His friend chuckled while smirking at Diamond.

"And what's your name ma?" He smirked, directing towards Diamond.

She blushed red before responding to his question.

"I'm Diamond..and you?" She blushed.

What is she thinking? Don't she know she's with Tristian. Plus Tristian is Alec best friend. She can't go around flirting with other guys.

"Marcus.." He smiled.

She giggled slightly before gazing over at me. I gave her a disgusted look before walking over to August bedroom door.

Before I could reach it he grabbed onto my arm. Preventing me from exiting the room of failure.

"Where are you going?" He questioned.

I signed before looking behind me at him. He gave me a confused look while everyone else just watched.

"I'm leaving. Are your that dumb?" I hissed.

He released my arm with shock on his face. I regret yelling at him like that, but I was to embarrassed to care.

I stormed out with tears forming in my eyes. If I wasn't winning him over then, I'm surely not now.

August pov-

Marcus was over helping me with my math homework. We was heading up to my room, while talking about basketball and such. As we entered I noticed a figure swinging from my bedroom window.

I flicked my Lights on noticing who it was.

"Harmony?" I spoke up.

Shocked at what I saw was one thing..but frightened was the other. What if she saw the picture of me and Charity on my nightstand. I don't want her to think we're dating.

Your probably wondering why I should care. Well it's because I like Harmony. She's pretty, and has a nice personality. However I never got the guts to confess to her.

"Why are you here?" Marcus spoke up while walking up beside me.

She was helping Diamond in.

"She's with me dummy." She exclaimed.

"Oh.." Marcus muttered.

"Harmony, why are you here?" I questioned.

"I was just checking-" She was cutted off by Diamond speaking.

"She was just looking to see if Alec was here with you." She frowned.

Alec? Doesn't she know me and him don't get along. Non the less that she's with him.

"Why would he be here?" I questioned while glancing over to Diamond then at her.

"Um, I just guessed." She muttered.

Marcus chuckled while looking over to diamond.

"And what's your name ma?" He smirked, directing towards Diamond

"Diamond, And you?" She smiled.

"Marcus.."

She giggled slightly before gazing over at Harmony. Harmony gave her a disgusted look before walking over to My bedroom door.

Before She could reach it i grabbed onto my arm. Preventing her from exiting the room.

"Where are you going?" I questioned.

"I'm leaving. Are your that dumb?" She hissed.

I released her arm with shock on my face. Is she angry at me? Did she see the picture?

I looked over to diamond to see she was giving a shocked look aswell.

"I should go.." she mumbled before heading out the room.

A signed escaped my lips and I gazed over to Marcus who was looking blankly at the wall.

Am I losing her?

Harmony pov

I ran down the steady side walk with tears streaming down my face.

I lost him for sure, but maybe it's for the best. I'm finally gonna leave Alec tomorrow for good. I don't care what happens.
