Summer Day Off | Taejin

Cafe

Taehyung rested his chin in the palm of his hand as he observed the oldest member converse with the others at the café table. His eyes narrowed slightly as he watched Seokjin's eyes flutter with happiness as he talked while bringing the spoon he was using to his pink glossy lips, while enjoying a delicious parfait. 'Beautiful' the young male thought.

He always thought Seokjin was beautiful. Not just because of his worldwide handsome face and body, but also because of his angelic voice and cutesy personality. Seokjin was the type to want to care about others first before him. The older male was just so pure and selfless. It intrigued and made Taehyung want to protect him.

"Tae!"

The male straightened up at the sound of his name, snapping him out of his thoughts about his hyung. He glanced at the owner of the voice. Hoseok, who was sitting near the end of the table, looking at him with a pout.

"Hurry and finish your ice cream! It's melting." He scolded,

"Ah," Taehyung looked down at the nearly melted ice cream cone in his hand with embarrassment,

"Hurry, tissue! Tissue!" Hoseok hurried as he began throwing napkins near the careless member's direction, though none of them reached him.

The other members couldn't help but giggle at this. Seokjin gave Taehyung a goofy grin and he couldn't help but blush as he quickly began licking up the melted ice cream running down his hand, telling the others that he didn't need the napkins.

"It's okay, Tae." Jimin smiled in reassurance as he patted him gently on the back, "You're just excited for today, aren't you?"

It was summer and BTS had work off today. Although, they wanted to sleep in today, they decided it wouldn't hurt to have fun instead. Especially, when they were so busy they couldn't enjoy having a normal fun summer day.

They had a list of things they wanted to do, but not much time. Jungkook wanted to go to the carnival today, but Jimin wanted to go to the beach, while Namjoon suggested they go to a fun museum. None of the members could really decide on what, so Suga made everyone go to the nearest café to get some cold desserts and think about it.

It was still early in the day, so they had a fair amount of time to think about it before their day off was finished. Honestly, Taehyung could care less about what they decided to do. He just wanted to spend more time with Seokjin.

The male merely nodded in response to Jimin as he smiled to himself, while thinking about his hyung, "Yeah."

"So, have we decided on what we will do today?" Namjoon asked the group,

"Definitely not Hoseok's idea." Suga muttered,

"Hey!" The latter gasped, offended, "There's nothing wrong with wanting to just dance all day!"

"Mmmm." Suga groaned as he sipped his smoothie. He closed his eyes softly as he leaned back in his seat, "We already do that almost everyday. No more."

"I like Jin-hyung's idea." The youngest member called out.

Taehyung's ears perked up at the mention of Seokjin's name. He didn't know the older male gave out an idea for today. He nearly smacked himself for not paying attention to the conversation earlier. Seokjin's saying was always important, even if it was silly or another dad joke.

"Ah, the outdoor photo gallery exhibit that opened up downtown." Namjoon recalled as he rubbed his chin in thought, "I heard that's only open for one week."

"Yeah." Seokjin nodded, "All of the photography are by children and teenagers. People keep saying that the art is really good. I really want to see it."

"We should check it out!" Jimin smiled cheerfully, "It sounds so cute!"

Taehyung quickly nodded along, agreeing, "Yes, yes!"

"Well, then I guess we'll do that first." Suga sighed, though he wasn't displeased, just a little tired from having to wake up a bit early today,

"Are there any objections?" Namjoon asked the group.

Silence.

"Alright, than the first thing we'll go to is the photo gallery." Namjoon nodded, "Now what would we do after that?"

The members continued to converse more about today's schedule. Taehyung looked over at Seokjin, who was smiling brightly about the fact that everyone wanted to go to his idea first. Ah, his smile always warmed Tae's cold heart. He wish he could hold his hyung's face and kiss it a billion times. He would never get tired of that beautiful smile.

It didn't take long for everyone to decide on the final schedule for today. First, they were going to the photo gallery, then the carnival, and to finish the night; they were going to go to a rave party at the beach. Exciting and fun.

"Alright, let's hurry up and finish our dessert and go." The leader announced, "We have a fun day ahead."

"Ah, I'm so full." Seokjin groaned, patting his stomach, "Who wants the last bite of my parfait?"

Taehyung nearly stood up in excitement at the thought of sharing food with the older male. A big blocky smile spread across his face as he patted his own knees cheerfully. He was about to accept the older male's request, but someone else spoke first.

"I can have it, Jin-hyung." Jungkook said, "It's just one bite, right?"

Seokjin nodded, "Here. Ahhh~"

The older male scooped up the last of the parfait with his spoon. He delicately put his other hand under the spoon, just in case any of it dropped, and leaned over the table to feed it to the youngest member. Seokjin looked so cute with his lips slightly parted until finally pressing them close after Jungkook took the bite.

"Mmh!~" The youngest let out a delighted hum, "It's so good, hyung!"

The older male lightly chuckled, "I know, right? We should come here more often."

'Holy shit. Did that just happen?' Taehyung felt like a little bit of his soul had just left his body. He was so pissed. He was so ready to eat that parfait that Seokjin was eating. The parfait that touched his hyung's beautiful lips. The parfait that was as sweet as his hyung's smile. The parfait that was blessed to be able to even touch his hyung. And...and Jungkook was the one that got to eat it!? Unfuckingbelieve. They even shared the same spoon! Taehyung felt very annoyed. He couldn't help but glare slightly at his younger friend before looking out at the window to cool down.

Feeding others was a common thing for Seokjin to do. He fed them all before and the members didn't think twice about it. Seokjin always treated them all equally, like a mother. So, the others didn't seem to notice Tae's jealousy, but Jimin certainly did.
