"Maybe what?" Pragya questioned. From the corner of her eyes, she saw the wind and the storm lessen through the whole that was in the entrance. 'It's good that it's decreasing. Judging from the light, I think it's about to be dawn soon.'
"Then maybe...maybe Tanu...Tanu wouldn't be dead."
*flashback*
After their argument that faithful day, Tanu and Abhi stopped talking to each other. If they had same classes at the same time, then if one attended, the other disappeared. If one was in the canteen, other would be on the other side of the college.
Everyone in the college was aware of it. From teachers to janitors...everyone was aware that they weren't on talking terms. Hence, people avoided talking about Tanushree in front of Abhi, and Tanu's friends didn't mention Abhi's name in front of her.
While Tanu simply stopped talking about and with Abhi, he went an extra inch. Abhi, being the notorious brat he was, couldn't let it slide that easily. He had to be one step above her. Hence, he started dating Sapna officially. He declared themselves a couple for the whole institute to know, not to mention kept hugging Sapna whenever he by chance happened to cross paths with Tanu.
However, he didn't have any feelings of love towards Sapna. She was just his tool to make Tanu angry.
It was one such morning that Abhi was face to face with Tanu.
At once he pulled Sapna closer and wrapped an arm around her waist. "You look so lovely today Sapna."

"Thank you Abhi." Sapna replied dreamily. She felt so lucky to be able to date the famous and dashing Abhishek Prem Mehra.
"No need to thank me dear. I'm only speaking the truth." Abhi praised. From the corner of his eyes, he saw Tanu get closer. 'Time to ace it up a notch.' he smirked and tucked a strand of Sapna's hair behind her ear, making her blush.
Suddenly, he felt himself being jerked away from her and coming face to face with an angry lioness.
