14 years ago. Planet Kalee.
3rd person POVThe day came that a large group warriors came back from one of the wars with the Huk. It was later in the day. Not dusk but getting close. The temple shined with the glow of the orbiting star. Sounds of celebrations where in the air. They won. Huge deep sounding horns where blown, echoing through the valley.
Mtaè came running out of her den in the temple. "Excited are we Mtaè?" Said another young Royal. Mtaè smiled before grabbing a vine from the side of the temple. Energy flowed around her as she slide down the vine. Glowing yellow shine around her as she landed. It looked like dust and glitter, it was the visual energy of her excitement and happiness. Worker females and children bowed at her presence. She was by far the most beautiful of the Royals. She ran to greet the Warriors. Ten warriors of all ages bowed at one knee, to her . She bowed back with kindness. She lifted and swirled her hands as the dust landed on them. It lifted there spirits and healed any wounds with just a touch.
They rose back up and one by one walked up to her. She touched each one on the hand. Till the last one. It was Qymaen. He seemed to always be the last in a group. He wouldn't greet many other Kaleesh for small talk. Most would say he had a rage built up for the war. Maybe he did. But he relaxed with Mtaè. He had no choice since she adjusted his mood as she pleased to help him ease. He approached her and she touched his hand. "My friend. I'm glad your back. It's a good day don't you say?" He rolled his eyes at her. His tusk have become large and very pronounced. Mtaè studied his face. He had grown since the last time she saw him. "Maybe. At least more Huk are dead." Qymaen spoke with exhausted breath. Mtaè smiled at him before she let go of his hand and started to follow him and the rest of the Warriors. Her tail swaying behind her as she walked. She had a serious question that she wanted to ask him but it wasn't easy. It was against what Royals where. "Qymaen. Meet me at the beach in just a few. I want to ask you something." He looked at her with interest but she didn't explain anything else. Just another smirk before she brushed her hair behind one of her easy and strutted away towards the beach.
The beach was on the other side of the temple. It was a nice place to be. Since it was dusk you could see the sunset. The beach had torches running along the path of safe travel to and from the beach. It was a pleace you would find Mtaè when she had any free time. She was there digging her toes in the sand. She could hear Qymaen approaching her. She turned to him as she hovered her hand over the water moving in a circle she lifted water up into the air for a few seconds before it fell back to the waves. "I'm getting a hang of moving water. I figured it would maybe come in handy one day." Qymaen looked at you still. "Is this what you wanted me for?" She chuckled at his question then she shook her head as she stepped back out of the water. "No it's not. Your the only Kaleesh that I could ask this. You can say no if you want to. But I want to learn how to fight. Just to protect myself." She studied his face. His golden eyes still looking at hers. He crossed his large arms infront of his chest and turned his head sideways. "I know..it's against Royal law. We must not fight. We must be pampered, treated like Royalty.. But I want more. I want to do more than that Qymaen. I want to use my gift to defend myself if it comes to it." She had small fire fly lights surround her body. Like small flickers of hope. Her eyes big. Her expression was blank waiting for a no come from Qymaen. But he rolled his eyes again and let out a blunt sigh.
"Well it wouldn't be the worst thing we could do. But we can not get caught Mtaè. I mean it." It was like an explosion of excitement and happiness hit Qymaen. Mtaè ran to him and hugged him with full force. The glow of blue and butterflies flew around them both. Qymaen looked around to see them and down at Mtaè still hugging him. He smiled for a short second before she stepped back. "When can we start?" She asked. He looked out at the last bit of light coming from the sunset over the ocean. "Can you come out right at dawn? I will meet you at the edge of the path we can go to the river. No one is there early." He spoke to her with a strong voice. "Yes. I will see you there Qymaen." She started to walk up the path way to the temple. "Thank you." He looked at her for a second second guessing what he just promised. "Goodnight my Friend." He said to her as her food touched the bottom step. She turned around and smiled at him. He was truly her best friend.

Present time.
1st person POVThe cell door opened. I looked up to see a man step in. He grabbed the human girl up. She panicked but gave in and walked out. Another man came in and looked at you. I felt weak as you needed food and water. But I kept going. I stood up and looked at the man. "Show me the way. I don't need assistance. I will follow with no struggle." The man smirked at me. He must not see many individuals like this. "Just cause your a Royal doesn't mean you won't get treated like the rest doll." He said as he grabbed one of my arms and pushed be forward. I walked out of the cell to the left following several other slaves. Some where even men. I could only assume they could be good farmers or labor of any way.
The man pushed me forward again but was stopped by another. "I wouldn't do that if I was you. Boss wants her to be in top shape for the auction. You know how much she will bring? If you hurt her in any way the price reflects it and it's your head he will be smashing not mine." He yelled at the other man. You where right. You knew this all along. Wealthy buyers are only interested in the best.
I took a deep breath like a sigh of relief. I didn't like not being able to do anything. But If I fight back nothing good will come of it. They walked us out into a shaft that separated the women and men. Then they put us four in a chamber. Another holding cell but this one had numbers. Slave auction numbers to be exact. I walk in and a man is standing there to release my cuffs. It was nice to stretch my arms finally. Then he walked out and the door closed behind him. I was the only Kaleesh in the chamber. The rest where again human. One looked at me with anger. Like I did something to her.
"It's not fair that you get to be a pet to the royalty now and we have to work for trash. That's if anyone wants us. Let me put a little dent into your pretty face and let's see what price you bring then." The woman spat at me before she ran over to challenge me. She slung a right hook but I jumped down on all fours before bolting up behind her arm grabbing it, twisting and lifting her over my back and down to the ground. Placing one of my feet on her back pushing her down with my claws I held her arm up with any struggle I could pop it out of socket. The other girls gasped and backed away. The one that challenged me spoke. "I thought you couldn't fight? Isn't that against Royal code?" I smiled at her comment.
"It is. But I was trained by the best warrior I know. Knowing I needed to protect myself one day. And fight if needed. Don't challenge me again. You won't be auctioned off in one piece." I hissed at her baring my teeth and showing my large canines. I may not be a warrior but I know how to fight like the best of them.
