6:30 AM
Tom's P.O.V
My alarm went off and I sleepily hit 'turn off'. I jumped out of bed and went to take a shower. I grabbed a clean set of clothes and carefully removed my shirt and bandages. Gross, I haven't showered in, like, days. I'm going to replace those bandages when I get out so that my wound won't get infected. I hopped into the shower, and let the hot water run over my back before taking my knuckles and putting them in either side of my spine and pushing forwards while leaning slightly backwards. Satisfying cracks and pops could be heard from my back. I groaned at how my back felt, it felt way less stiff. I washed my hair and body, being extra careful when I got to my stomach. I shut off the water, and stepped onto the mat on the bathroom while I dried myself off. I carefully wrapped new bandages around myself and got dressed. I was blow drying my hair, gently combing my fingers through before I took a look in the mirror. God, I look so much better. I ran out of the bathroom and went into Tord's bedroom. I quietly opened the door, and found him sleeping. I tip toed over to his bed and sat down next to him. "Tord, wake up. I have a big day planned." I softly whispered.
He opened one eye and looked to see what was going on. He momentarily looked confused before smiling, processing what I'd just said. He rolled over on his side and started to talk.
"So, what are we going to do today?"
"It's a surprise, but it's fun."
He slid out of bed, making his way to the kitchen. He started a pot of coffee before disappearing. A couple of minutes later, he reappeared, dressed in new clothes. He poured himself a cup and asked if I was ready to go.
"Hell yeah!" I grabbed the keys and ran out to the car, sliding into the driver's seat. Tord carefully sat down, trying to not spill his coffee. His efforts went to waste, because when I started backing out a car came out of nowhere and I had to slam on the breaks. I quickly put my arm in front of him, so that the coffee hit me and not him. My efforts were successful, as I felt a burning hot liquid hit my skin through the hoodie sleeve. "Ah, Shit!"
"Dumbass."

Tord's P.O.V
Tom was backing out when an asshole came from out of nowhere and he had to slam on the breaks. He put his arm in front of me so that the coffee wouldn't get me.
"Ah, Shit!"
"Dumbass."
I was actually really worried. That coffee was piping when I poured it, that probably hurt like hell. Why the hell would he do that?! He knew he was gonna get hurt! "Hey, Tom. Give me your arm that got splashed."
He complied and handed over his arm while he started driving. I pulled back the sleeve and saw he had a 1st degree burn. Ah, fuck. That must hurt. He's good at hiding pain. Without thinking, I pulled his arm up to my lips and kissed the part of his arm that got hurt. He looked over, surprised and I saw his face turn red, although he was trying to act like he wasn't blushing. How cute. I wonder... if I kissed it again how would he react? I decided to do it again, so I could see his reaction. I kissed his arm again, only to have him pull it away. He was blushing and grinning while shaking his head.
"I appreciate your concern, but I'm alright. Really." He laughed slightly.
When I finally looked out of the window, I saw we were pulling into the park.
"Our adventure begins here!" He said excitedly as he hopped out of the car.
I followed him and saw we were walking to a part of a creek, it was mostly secluded.
"What are we doing down here?"
"I don't know, look for pretty stones and possibly some shells. But remember it's only the beginning!" He kicked off his shoes and started walking in the water. Oh hell no.
"Do we have to walk in the water?"
"Yes! That's what makes it fun. Don't worry, I brought towels to dry our feet." He rolled his eyes, with a sigh that said 'Don't be a baby'.
I kicked my shoes off and joined him, rolling my sleeves up so I could touch the water. It felt cool against my feet, and the sun felt warm against my back. It was a perfect combination.
"Look! I found a pretty one." He waded up to me, holding up a red and gray swirled stone. It looked clean, not rough and grainy. I took it out of his hand, gingerly caressing the stone. It felt smooth between my fingers. I decided to go on my own search, stuffing his stone into my pocket.
After a little while, I found a pretty shell. It was an orange-gold color, mixed with spots of white. As if someone had came through and flecked white paint on the shell.
"Tom, look at how pretty it is." I put the shell up to his face and he examined it.
"That is pretty, but not as pretty as you." He winked flirtatiously. I rolled my eyes, but I was blushing a little. A couple of minutes later, Tom spoke up.
"Let's go, I have a lot of things planned." He slowly walked out of the creek water, picking up both of our socks and shoes. He opened up the trunk to reveal about 4 towels.
"Why the hell is there four towels in your car?" I said, almost laughing.
"It's a secret." He winked and dried his feet off, handing me the same towel. After our feet were dry, we put on our socks and shoes and got back into the car. I stared out the window, wondering where the hell we were going next. We pulled into some rural restaurant, and I was the least to say confused.
"What're we doing here?"
"We are going to eat at one of my favorite places!" He responded pretty enthusiastically.
I followed behind him and walked into the old diner. Inside, the light was warm and soft, hitting the checkered floors perfectly. We sat down at a worn down leather booth, the once bright red now a rusty brown. It smelled of grease and saw dust. A waitress can by and greeted Tom by first name and even seemed to have a lot of knowledge on him. She handed us menus and went back to the kitchen.
"How'd she know your name?"
"I come here often, like I said it's one of my favorites." He seemed to make himself at him in the old diner.
