Abandonment can at first seem like no big deal, after all, you're just hanging out with someone else for the day, maybe two. Unfortunately, it's a bigger deal than some people intend it to be. It not only makes a person feel excluded from a group of people, but a person not inviting them in or flat out ignoring them is the worst feeling I've come across personally. One of my least favorite quotes is this, "I intentionally abandon the hard stuff early on because not only do I think it's useless, I think it's a distraction,". There are so many things awful about this quote I can't even explain them all. It depends on how you approach the quote, but every way I view it is bad. One way to view it; You're abandoning the people who will not help you, that are distractions and are useless. This is utterly unacceptable and I don't even need to explain why. The second way to see it is that he is ignoring or not pursuing the hardships in life, which is just immature and irresponsible. And nonetheless 'early on', meaning hardly trying before giving up. Scratching the quote rampage, let's go back on subject. Just take a few extra moments to think before doing something. Even if it's unnecessary, before anything at all happens, think.

Nobody can predict the future, but you can prepare for it,
